I looked over this set of photos several times myself before posting, and picked a few more atmospheric finished images to talk about the feelings during the shoot. This shoot was paired with a leaning European classical scene and props; the red velvet curtain cooperating with the large hanging clock and wooden background forms an excellent visual contrast with this outfit of black, blue, and bright orange color-blocking.

On the costume, the reflective texture of the dark blue satin corset is very good, and the gold thread trimming and gear accessories at the waist increase that sense of precision combining mechanical aesthetics with classical gorgeousness. The sleeves and neckline section pieced together with black lace mesh are design details I especially like. The light transmission is just right, which can both frame the arm lines and avoid looking too heavy, offering a lightweight sense of elegance when worn on the body. The skirt hem composed of three layers of ruffles is very rich in layers, and the bright orange brightens the overall color tone, making the skin look fairer when worn than imagined. The thigh-high black tights carry subtle patterns; when cooperating with this sitting pose during shooting, they beautifully stretch and modify the leg lines, giving the overall styling more of an extended feel.

Regarding makeup and hair, the golden long hair was done into fluffy large waves, and the treatment of the hairline is also relatively natural, beautifully supporting the weight of the hat and headpiece. Light-colored colored contacts paired with eye makeup emphasizing the eye structure preserve the clear feel while increasing the depth in the gaze, allowing the emotions in front of the lens to be conveyed more accurately.

The most challenging parts at the shooting site had to be that parasol with golden ruffles and this hat. As "heavyweight" props for delivering photos, holding them in hand required considering not only limb extension but also preventing them from catching on the sleeve's lace mesh. To present a dynamic sense of naturally swinging the umbrella, we needed to repeatedly adjust the extension of the shoulders and the tilt angle of the body to ensure the frame wouldn't be stiff. The sitting pose in front of the chessboard in the second image was also something we smoothed out with the photographer several times to find the most upright posture. Once the support points of the waist, abdomen, and hips were controlled, wearing this kind of tight corset dress could shoot an extended visual effect. Coupled with the virtual-and-real layers of the large hanging clock, red chair, and golden chess pieces in the background, it carried quite an atmosphere of an elegant gamble.

During the shoot, we actually also considered trade-offs in composition; for instance, deliberately blurring the foreground chess pieces was precisely to focus the visual attention more centrally on the figure itself. This method carrying environmental immersion often touches the viewer's emotions better than a simple standing display. The design of this character in Genshin Impact itself carries a lot of clever ideas. This time, attempting to add more dramatic interpretations into static photographs and blending in my own understanding of the character's temperament, I hope to bring a different visual perception to everyone as part of this Anime-style portrait. Everyone is very satisfied with the final results. From the early makeup and styling preparation to the actual shooting, the photographer and the assistants gave a lot of very practical advice. Transforming a flat character into a concrete story scene through the lens—this is probably the most joyful process of doing a Roleplay.
