For this Mid-Autumn Lesh AS Fair, I chose to appear in Genshin Impact Ganyu's Lantern Rite outfit skin. The piano photograph featured in this post was taken during a solo prep session in Lesh Culture District, which I decided to use as the cover image for this event preview.
Today, let's focus on the costume details of this Ganyu Lantern Rite outfit. The overall ensemble adopts a sailor-style modified cut with a light grey and white color palette. Featuring a dark grey collar and a crisp white bodice, the shoulders and cuffs are adorned with gold crest embroidery, giving the character an elegant, pristine look. For headwear, besides the classic bow hairclips, I paired it with a light-toned wig specially styled with soft, layered curves and a subtle teal ombre at the tips, accurately capturing the fluid grace of the official design. I opted for blue-violet contact lenses, which bring out a brighter, gentler Lantern Rite ambiance compared to my previous Ganyu cosplays.
For this shoot, we chose a cozy retro wooden space inside Lesh Culture District. A solid wood upright piano served as a prop, creating a subtle visual contrast with the sailor outfit. Sitting at the piano looking back toward the camera beautifully highlights the back and side silhouettes of the garment while keeping the overall composition dynamic and comfortable. I am confident the photo results will look even better under the ambient light on October 6th.
Here is the schedule for the event day. This AS Fair takes place on Mid-Autumn Day, October 6th, from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM at Lesh Culture District as part of the Zhuhai anime convention festivities. The organizers thoughtfully arranged a free-admission system with no reservations or ticket rushes needed—simply show up and join. The activity zones are clearly marked: the random dance arena is situated at the outdoor plaza of Building 1 Duibai Theater, featuring a setlist of 82 tracks ranging from classic ACG anthems to recent hits, testing every dance partner's stamina and choreography mastery. Even if you don't dance, standing along the sidelines waving or clapping along delivers an incredible vibe.
Beyond random dancing, an interactive game area is tucked beside the Deyi Grocery Store. Traditional Chinese fair activities like solving lantern riddles, fishing for mooncakes, pitch-pot, and ring toss are lined up, harmonizing perfectly with the Mid-Autumn festive spirit—ideal for challenging with friends to win small gifts. Numerous Hanfu enthusiasts and fellow cosplayers will also be around, creating a rich visual spectacle through diverse styles.
As a cosplayer who frequently attends offline events, I know that great photo shoots and live atmosphere matter most to everyone. Hosting this event during the Mid-Autumn Festival combines the lively buzz of an anime convention with the warmth of traditional culture. On October 6th, I will be roaming around Lesh Culture District in this Ganyu Lantern Rite outfit. If you are interested in interactive games or want to take photos together, feel free to drop by for a photo meetup. Hope everyone enjoys a relaxed and joyful anime-filled Mid-Autumn Festival at Lesh!
