[Columbina Cosplay] Genshin Impact: A Serene Dream in a Blue Bathtub

In this tranquil blue-and-white space, I placed all of the character's ethereal yet subtly dangerous aura inside a small white bathtub. Setting up this scene, I didn't think of daily life, but rather how props could recreate the character's deeply hidden inner self. Blue velvet draped along the tub walls, topped with a layer of white plush blanket, dead branches, a crystal chandelier, and scattered green leaves created a highly narrative stage full of atmosphere.

The outfit worn mainly consists of extremely pale blue and crisp white sheer mesh. To fit the character's traits, we specifically chose a sheer, floating fabric that produces a dreamy refraction under light. A crescent-shaped accessory and small metallic parts at the chest add necessary weight to the look. White straps on the arms and thighs required significant effort to put on, take off, and align, but they played a critical visual role, elongating silhouette lines while adding fragile, delicate visual tension. Feather ornaments on both sides of the head were tricky to fixate, yet these fluffy details immediately established the character's contour.

For hair and makeup, I added dark red streaks onto black hair with natural gradient edges, creating a color collision that stands out vividly against white and blue clothing. During shooting, I tried immersing myself fully in this designated dreamscape. Closed-eye shots captured an unguarded serenity, while open-eye shots established direct eye contact with the lens, conveying a subtle emotion balancing innocence and distance.

I intentionally heightened the light-shadow contrast on set. Crystal chandelier highlights fell on shoulders and collarbones, working alongside cool shadows to give the image richer dimensionality. Achieving this \"atmospheric feel\" relies on more than post-production color grading; upfront lighting setups and reflectors required repeated adjustments. For instance, white gauze is lovely but easily blends into the white bathtub, so we controlled light ratios to keep the subject's outline sharp.

Regarding pose selection, especially the sitting shot, I placed my center of gravity on one side to create a slight tilt. This made garment folds look more natural while better displaying thigh straps and layering. Sitting securely on the tub edge was challenging, but the photographer guided me smoothly to balance relaxation with posture control. Adding botanical decorations inside the blue bathtub was intended to break up monochrome coldness; the dark green leaves and deep red accents introduced a touch of vitality, echoing the character's subtle inner liveliness.

Furthermore, I paid special attention to spatial staggering in prop placement. Whitewashed dead branches behind formed a visual hot-cold contrast with the front crystal chandelier, feeling like stumbling upon a sleeping dream inside a deserted winter garden. Building this immersive scene required the most effort during prep—considering camera focal lengths and calculating how prop reflections might impact skin tones. As an Anime girl cosplayer, I believe costuming and props are merely the outer shell; true impact comes from expressing the character's inner soul. Rather than passionate interaction, I sought an aloof, detached cool mood. It felt as though a long dream lay hidden in the blue bathtub, and I happened to pass by, serving as an observer and presenter of that dream world.
