A lot of effort went into the costume, hair, and makeup for this official Yu Linglong cosplay photoshoot from NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. When thinking of Yu Linglong, what immediately comes to mind is that alluring yet spirited temperament, especially her tsundere playfulness and devotion towards Senior Brother Wuchen. To capture this essence, significant preparation was dedicated to styling. This short dress, splicing white lace with a lavender gradient, is packed with intricate real-life details; the rhinestone chains and ruffled cuffs show off exquisite texture under the lights. For the wig, I selected silver-white hair specially sculpted into two pointed cat ears, paired with violet contact lenses and reddish-brown eyeshadow, hoping to give the character's gaze unmistakable distinction.

The shoot took place in a moody indoor setting with a Baroque-style vintage sofa, where gilded carvings and wine-red cushions beautifully set off the contrast of the white costume. The entire shoot prioritized expressive body language—whether curling my legs while sitting sideways or glancing back while lying prone, each posture aimed to channel Yu Linglong's languid yet subtly aggressive presence. The pearl thigh garters and fishnet tights on my legs were chosen to add detail and layered texture to show off Stockings and beautiful legs, keeping the look dynamic. When wearing these accessories, the mesh density of the fishnets and tightness of the garters required meticulous adjustment: too tight leaves marks, too loose risks slipping during movement, but the final fit was thankfully seamless.

Many have asked if this outfit was hot to wear; indoors it was manageable, but because the cut is quite form-fitting, I had to remain mindful of posture, keeping my spine straight at all times. The most taxing part was actually the hair—multiple layers of hairspray were needed just to secure those two cat ears. To complement the dim, atmospheric lighting during this Role-playing game photoshoot, the photographer used a concentrated single-side key light to carve out three-dimensional contours. When catching light on the face, tilting the chin slightly upward allowed the jawline and collarbones to be captured simultaneously, while fixing my gaze through the lenses directly onto the camera to seize that predatory, sharp intensity.

As a cosplayer in Traditional Chinese style cosplay, preparing a character means building her external visage from scratch each time—from basic pattern communication and makeup test shoots to set coordination on the day of the shoot, every phase is a deep dialogue with the character. Yu Linglong's design merges classical Eastern elements with modern anime aesthetics; thus, in choreography, I deliberately infused subtle strength within gentleness, such as wrist turns and delicate fingertip placements, striving to freeze vibrant vitality each time the shutter released.
