It took about three weeks from preparation to completion for this Aemeath photoset. Because the weather for the previous few outdoor shoots wasn't very cooperative, we simply chose an indoor studio shoot this time, and the overall texture came out very clean. The character designs in the game Wuthering Waves have an incredible amount of detail, especially the combination of technological sense and classical fantasy elements in the costumes. To restore this outfit, I communicated with the tailor multiple times in advance regarding the pattern, particularly the three-dimensionality of the chest armor and the gradient bow at the waist. For the materials, a combination of glossy leather and matte fabric was chosen to create layering under the camera. The wig was also restyled with a pink and light blue gradient, with slightly curled hair ends, which, paired with hair accessories and star patches, managed to capture that light and dreamy feeling.

The staff prop in my hand is actually quite heavy because of the acrylic lighting component at the top, so special attention had to be paid to the reflection angles when lighting. On the day of the shoot, the photographer kept helping me find the right lighting, as the combination of the pink background and cool white light easily makes one look washed out. We tried several sets of color gels before adjusting to the most comfortable state. In terms of poses, considering the character's personality, I didn't choose overly exaggerated postures, but rather used some relatively relaxed sitting poses and gestures, such as touching my face with both hands or leaning the staff against my shoulder, hoping to convey a state that is both gentle and powerful. I really like the pairing of the white gloves and leg rings. Although they needed frequent adjustments to prevent shifting when walking or sitting down during the shoot, they are a huge plus in the frames, especially the blue straps and gold accessories contrasting sharply against the white fabric.

It was actually quite stuffy in the studio, and the waist corset of this outfit was very tight, so I broke into a thin layer of sweat after finishing the first set of actions. But every time I saw the color restoration of the original photos on the screen, I felt that no matter how tired I was, it was worth it. For this studio setup, we intentionally built plaster Roman columns and many white silk flowers, combined with a pink seamless paper background, aiming to create a romantic sense divorced from real-world game scenes. I especially love those few blue strands of hair at the tips, which exhibit a very subtle pearlescent effect under the lights. During the shoot, the photographer asked me to relax my shoulders as much as possible and add a bit of playfulness to my gaze, so in the final photos, you can see many playful gestures like poking my cheek with a finger or making slight tsundere micro-actions. This shoot also gave me a new understanding of how materials render light and shadow; for example, white patent leather is prone to overexposure under strong light, but can present great cool tones in shadows. During post-processing color grading, the focus was kept on preserving this contrast between cool white and pink. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this photoset myself, and it can be considered a staged conclusion to my collection of this character.
