[Sunna cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero: Refreshing Summer Photoshoot at Chimelong Water Park

On the day of this Zenless Zone Zero Sunna cosplay shoot, the direct sunlight at Chimelong Water Park fell at an ideal angle, crisply defining the highlights and shadows across the White stockings and striped leg warmers. For the core outfit, I selected a navy-blue School swimsuit; while this classic design is minimalist, it strictly tests posture control in front of the lens. Rather than wearing shoes, I opted to step barefoot onto the sand to cultivate a carefree, playful mood, leaning into the tactile feeling of sand under my toes as an authentic creative touch.

Regarding props, the pink heart-shaped lollipop wand and backpack served as visual anchors, harmonizing cleanly with the green ribbon and hollow heart hairpin atop my head. The makeup focused on subtle flush beneath the eyes paired with striking red contact lenses, balancing cuteness with spirited cleverness to bring the persona alive.

The most grueling part of the session was holding postures under the blazing sun—especially the kneeling pose on the rattan lounge chair, where breaking a sweat was inevitable. To achieve the asymmetrical balance of the school swimsuit paired with white stockings and pink wrist warmers, I repeatedly micro-adjusted the angle of my toes and knees. The white stockings and pink striped sleeve warmers were the true soul of this styling, fitting organically into the water park setting despite their exaggerated flair. Reviewing the framed shots on the camera monitor made every drop of sunscreen and sweat feel completely justified.

The surroundings featured sandy beaches, wicker loungers, and green sun canopies, providing stark natural contrast that yielded rich textures without supplemental lighting. To match the character's relaxed yet cheeky demeanor, I explored three postures: sitting sideways, kneeling, and curling up. The final set blends airy summer freshness with the refined delicacy of an anime character. This marked my first time shooting a swimsuit look in such bright outdoor light at a water park, offering a visceral sense of connection between character and environment. I am thrilled to express my vision of Sunna through these captures—this project was not merely a visual showcase, but a true test of my craft.
