Today, I'm sharing this location Photo set of Z47 from Azur Lane.
This character concept is a demanding test of garment nuances and prop fidelity, weaving an anime mashup charged with cyberpunk and wasteland aesthetics. Let's start with the prop that everyone has been asking about: that massive mechanical greatsword took immense dedication to fabricate. Featuring red-and-black serrated sawteeth and realistic metallic weathering, it carried true heft in hand. To do justice to this heavy weapon, I staged multiple sequences inside an abandoned factory and nocturnal ruins; the rusted pipes and industrial metal staircases harmonized impeccably with the sword's raw, rugged presence. Those candid frames of taking selfies with a smartphone inside the dilapidated warehouse aimed to evoke an endearing gap-moe contrast—pairing cold-blooded weaponry with a casual purple phone yielded unexpectedly fantastic results.
Beyond the heavy industrial vibe, the baseball field sequence is one of my personal favorites. Shedding the weighty black strapped coat, I switched into a white cropped tank top and denim cutoffs, paired with black Thigh-high socks and white sneakers. The sunshine was radiant that day; standing on the sandy infield with a baseball bat rested over my shoulder, the passing breeze filled me with spirited vigor. To inject rebellious edge, I strapped black thigh bands and cross-motif garters around my legs, maxing out the styling details. This outfit is phenomenal for flattering leg contours—pairing Thigh-high socks with sneakers not only elongates the legs, but also fits the character's athletic persona to perfection.
Next came the trek through the desert and volcanic landscapes. Sitting on the ground checking my phone across the dunes channeled a casual, languid everyday demeanor. The pink twintails and yellow highlights paired with the black coat created striking chromatic pop against the golden sandstone formations. The volcanic sequence was captured right amidst the twilight afterglow, where pitch-black volcanic rocks set against distant crimson magma maximized the atmospheric drama. It must be said, however, that the heat near the volcanic terrain was blistering; wrapped in a heavy black coat and high socks, sweat poured down my back, but seeing the final frames made every bit of exhaustion worthwhile. The desert shoot brought intense swirling dust and wind, demanding frequent makeup touch-ups.
On the styling front, the white eyepatch over the right eye and the bandage across the cheek are the heart and soul of this character. To channel crisp 2D aesthetics, the wig's twintails were generously teased and heat-set for airy volume, while the looping ahoge atop my head was locked firmly upright with hairspray. Hair accessories featured black-and-white cartoon cat pins and cross clips, lending a touch of mischievous charm to the dark palette.
Every outdoor location shoot—from scouting terrains and coordinating outfits to hauling heavy multi-pound props through poses—is an endurance test of stamina and patience. Maneuvering this greatsword up narrow flights of stairs in the ruins was definitely a workout. Yet the moment you lock into character before the lens, everything transforms. This set captures the character's multifaceted nature across varied settings, balancing fierce combat cool with relaxed downtime ease. I hope everyone can feel my passion for this costume and character through these shifting environments and lighting moods. I look forward to exploring even more outdoor concepts to deliver richer visual experiences in the future.
