This shoot brought to life Halford's Bunny girl styling from Azur Lane. The layering on this costume is remarkably rich: a pink camisole paired with a white off-the-shoulder ruffled over-blouse, finished with cascading tiers of lace and black bows, anchoring the overall visual in a white and pink palette. The headpiece was the focal point of the styling—combining white lace frills, pink accents, and small animal ears into an intricate arrangement that demanded meticulous pinning, otherwise it could easily shift out of place during the shoot. The wig was long, waist-length silver-white hair with blunt bangs; to preserve its silky texture, considerable time was spent combing and styling it before stepping onto the set.

For the makeup, pale-toned colored contacts were chosen to match the 2D aesthetic, paired with pink-toned eyeshadow accentuating the eyeliner and lashes, a tender pink lip, and a luminous, clean base. The makeup had to define facial features clearly while staying in harmony with the hair and outfit, avoiding any heavy-handedness that might detract from the character's sweet charm.

The location was a seamless pure-white studio with bright, diffused illumination, fostering a clean, luminous atmosphere. I sat on a white plush rug holding two yellow dango plushies. These props not only enriched the composition, but also added an engaging touch of interaction. Photographer Y原 provided invaluable posing guidance throughout the shoot. The first photo captured a profile seated pose glancing backward with legs crossed, an angle that elegantly highlighted the sleek lines of the white Stockings tights and the garment's profile silhouette. The second photo captured a frontal seated pose cradling the plush toys with both hands, directly showcasing the upper-body craftsmanship and overall styling coordination.

Shooting this Bunny girl look meant holding seated postures for extended periods while keeping the spine upright and conveying emotion through the eyes. To achieve optimal results, the headpiece, skirt folds, and leg angles underwent repeated micro-adjustments. Because the seamless white backdrop reflected significant light, touching up makeup and smoothing the hair between takes was necessary. Though demanding, seeing the final images revealed a wonderfully cohesive harmony among the white plush rug, intricate lace headpiece, silver-white tresses, and white Stockings, culminating in an irresistibly sweet visual charm.

Exploring this Bunny girl theme allowed me to weave even more adorable touches into the character's canonical traits. Harmonizing props with deliberate poses created richer compositional depth. Packing up the wig and costume after wrapping took considerable effort, but being able to faithfully achieve such a fulfilling result made all the preliminary prep work completely worthwhile.
