Having received these CPSP convention photos, I can now write a dedicated Cosplay sharing post about shooting Arknights Wishadel in her Anomalous Spectrum outfit.

First of all, huge thanks to photographer @十平Scale_X. The anime convention venue was actually very crowded and chaotic, so taking such clean and impactful photos demands a lot from the photographer. Using a wide aperture, the photographer cleverly eliminated background distractions, and those lovely circular bokeh spots in the background added a cinematic feel to the originally industrial exhibition venue.

The practical difficulty of wearing this costume was indeed very high. The red-and-black color-blocked design is extremely eye-catching; large areas of red and black leather materials paired with puffy sleeves and abdominal strap structures give it rich visual layers. However, the trickiest part of this outfit was actually the long black tail and straps, which easily tripped my feet or dragged on the floor while walking around the hall. To present the best state in front of the camera, I had to pay attention to the direction of the tail with every pose. For low-center-of-gravity crouching angles like photo 4 and photo 6, positioning the tail was a significant challenge—I relied heavily on the photographer repeatedly reminding me so I wouldn't step on my own tail.

As for choosing poses, I tried several different styles in this set. The pose in photo 7, with one hand on my hip and the other pointing upward, best conveys Wishadel's arrogant and cool character traits, while fully showcasing details like the leather highlights of the coat, the red waist straps, and the metallic thigh rings. In photo 1 and photo 3, utilizing a black high stool at the venue created a relaxed yet oppressive sitting pose. This posture worked wonderfully to visually elongate lower-body proportions, which, paired with thick-soled black Martens boots, delivered a strong sense of power.

Cosplaying this character really tests accessories, especially managing the wig and the red hornlike head ornament. Clipping the red horns into the white hair required repeatedly testing angles to make them look seamlessly integrated. The weapon prop also added dynamic energy to the images; holding it in hand—whether striking an offensive forward stance like photo 4 or letting it hang naturally like photo 8—instantly sharpened my overall aura.

Lighting at the anime convention was actually leaning toward cold white light, but Wishadel's red-and-black Anomalous Spectrum palette created an even sharper color contrast under these conditions. Combined with the photographer's post-processing adjustments of light and shadow, the matte texture of the leather and the black feather-like tassels along the sleeve edges were captured faithfully. With bustling crowds at the event, finding the right angles, holding facial expressions, and adjusting props within a short time truly required chemistry and good communication.

Although wearing the stuffy leather coat during the shoot was exhausting, seeing the final results made all the effort feel completely worthwhile. It was a challenging yet immensely satisfying convention experience, and I'm happy to share these shooting insights with everyone.
