Today, I arrived at the scene of the League of Legends Kaito Tournament as a cosplayer, and the booth setup was even livelier than I had anticipated. As soon as I arrived nearby, I spotted five TCL supercars cruising down the street in a single file. The red-and-blue convertible sports cars were emblazoned with 'TCL Mini LED Global No. 1' custom wraps, making them exceptionally eye-catching. Passersby whipped out their phones to snap photos, and I couldn't resist taking quite a few myself. My outfit today featured pink hair paired with fluffy beast ears, a blue bow, and White stockings, holding a blue snowball prop in hand—fitting right into the expo zone's theme for this Ahri cosplay.
Upon entering and heading over to the TCL SQD experience zone, I saw that visitors could jump straight into team fights before the massive screen, which displayed the Hextech Snowball Showdown queue screen. I immediately sat down to play a round of Ultra Rapid Fire (URF) on this TV. My first impression of this Q9M Art SQD-Mini LED wallpaper TV was how astonishingly thin it was—when displaying rotating art wallpapers mounted against the wall, it looked genuinely like a framed piece of art. Picking up the physical joystick with red and blue buttons on the table to control my movement, the visual impact delivered by the giant display was immediate and striking.
In terms of picture quality, it was genuinely breathtaking. The color expressiveness was remarkably vibrant, with skill effects in the game boasting high color saturation without any color bleeding whatsoever. On-site staff explained that this TV adopts an on-panel wide color gamut solution achieving 100% BT.2020 full-gamut coverage with pixel-level color control, no wonder it faithfully reproduces the intricate colors of the original artwork.
I also noticed that the image details were extraordinarily rich. Empowered by the precise light-and-dark gradation of Wanxiang local dimming and the consistent, sustained high peak brightness of Radiant XDR, shadowed areas were deeply immersive while edge outlines of brush in the shadows remained razor-sharp. Even when snowballs burst in-game, highlight details stayed crystal-clear without washing out the screen, keeping the visual punch of the game completely intact. Such stable and precise high color gamut, high contrast, and high-brightness picture quality makes gaming remarkably comfortable, and watching esports matches or binge-watching anime and movies on it would likely be even more enjoyable. Moreover, the lightweight wallpaper TV profile mounted on the wall aligns beautifully with modern home aesthetics.
Later, I also checked out other models and found that SQD TVs can be had starting from the 5K+ RMB range, such as the popular T7M Pro and Q9M Pro. If you prefer the wallpaper TV design, besides the Q9M Art I experienced today, there is also the C10M to choose from. Beyond the TV experience, there was also the displayed fleet of cars. I sat inside one of the convertibles to snap a few photos and soak in the sports car vibe; the gaming decals on the car body paired surprisingly well with my outfit.
Originally, I just came to check out the Kaito Tournament and casually test out the games and TVs, but after walking a full circle, not only did I have an absolute blast, but I was also totally sold on this TV's picture quality. From on-site gaming interactions to hands-on product experience, the entire trip was incredibly fulfilling, and today's outfit allowed me to immerse myself completely at the booth.
