This time, I'm bringing you the photos of Momoka Hanyuu's "Bolívar Diagnosed" outfit from Arknights, completing this outdoor shoot under the bustling urban night scene. The overall color combination of red, white, and navy blue stands out exceptionally bright under the cool-toned night lights, especially the lightweight red-and-white gradient sheer fabric, which, captured under the night breeze and flashlights, presents a highly translucent texture.

A lot of thought was put into the costume details this time. The crop-top design of the upper garment is paired with a navy-blue pleated miniskirt with red stripes, which, together with the red ties and metallic-textured dangling ornaments at the waist, beautifully brings out the character's lively and playful vibe. The gradient sheer fabric and ribbons behind are the essence of this entire costume design. To achieve a flowing effect during the shoot, the photographer and I repeatedly adjusted our actions, ultimately finding the standing angle that best matched the wind direction. Besides the costume, the matching platform boots with a white base and red trim, along with the red gloves, are also key to recreating the character. For the hairstyle, a pink, fluffy, long curly wig was used, paired with a giant red bow on the head and elf-ear makeup, striving to maintain sharp contours and saturated colors even under the intense night lights.

Regarding the props, this time I carried a long-handled magic staff, the head of which consists of a disc and red starburst decorations, giving it a strong metallic feel. While shooting behind-the-scenes footage, we also tried adding colorful soap bubbles and hand-held colorful strings. These dynamic elements added quite a dreamlike aura to the frame. When lifting the colorful strings, the shift in body gravity let the skirt hem and sheer fabric dance along. Capturing such snapshots is actually highly challenging, requiring body balance while standing on one foot, while concurrently maintaining the character's confidence and composure in facial expressions.

Speaking of the difficulties of night view cosplay, it actually lies in the balance between ambient light and portrait lighting. The tall buildings behind have streamlined warm-toned lights, while the distant high-rises project cool blue-green lights. This intersecting warm-and-cool background actually makes it very easy for the character to merge into the background. Fortunately, the photographer had a highly precise control over the light, using main subject fill light to separate the character from the complex architectural shadows, preserving the urban atmosphere while highlighting the person. When shooting characters with a large amount of light tulle and ribbons, the cooperation of shutter speed and wind power is also critical—too slow and you can't capture the flowing elegance, too fast and it will look stiff.

Special thanks to photographer @云间glow for the dedicated collaboration, finding the perfect shooting positions and light setups in the complex city night scene, and capturing Momoka Hanyuu's natural and agile state in front of the lens. Actually, every roleplay project is a process of rediscovering the character's traits through character photography. This outfit looks lightweight from afar, but to keep it crisp when worn on the body and express the vitality of the original art still requires quite a few little tricks, such as the tightness of the belt, the non-slip choice of the boots, and the fixing method of the headpiece. These small details often directly decide the baseline of outdoor photo production. This set of night view photos can be said to have restored my imagination of this character to a great extent. I hope Momoka Hanyuu waving her staff under the lens can display her deserved tension.
