[Guangzhou CICF Anime Exhibition Convention Cosplay Photo Dump] Recording Various Styles and Looks

The shooting schedule for this Guangzhou CICF Anime Exhibition was very fulfilling. The venue was at a super-large exhibition hall like Pazhou; the spacious environment and industrial-style trusses at the top actually added a lot of difficulty to the lighting, but it was also particularly suitable for capturing large, high-tension scenes. To match the sense of space in the venue, we chose dynamic candid shots for many actions, such as spinning large skirts or pulling cloaks, which can showcase the characters' imposing aura. This time trying out several completely different looks, the preparation process truly took a lot of thought. For instance, with the white twin-tails set, just combing and styling that huge waist-length wig took over an hour, and during the shoot, we had to constantly watch out so the hair strands wouldn't tangle together. The close-up shot utilized a slight high-angle perspective, slightly adjusting the center of gravity to better showcase the clothing details and overall proportions. For the look with red horns and sharp ears, the makeup intentionally emphasized cool tones; during the shoot, the photographer used a wide-angle upward shot, extending one arm forward with the gaze, instantly bringing out that aggressive vibe. As for the set with the huge circular instrument prop, the prop is actually extremely heavy; when striking poses, the core must be tightened, and great effort must be made to find a good balance point, ensuring the lines of the strappy shoes and leg muscles look firm under the light. For the dreamy-style set, to match the petals and vines, under the backlighting produced by reflectors, the texture and flowing feel of the tulle skirt were maximized. Running and jumping in a large space while controlling expressions and the direction of the skirt hem actually consumed a lot of physical energy, but seeing the final photos made it all worth it. Everyone helped each other carry items and watch over equipment at the anime convention, making it possible to smoothly produce so many photos of different styles. Shooting in a large venue truly tests physical strength, endurance, and instant expressiveness in front of the lens.
