The official photos of Hatsune Miku Rabbit Hole shot in Qingdao this time have finally been organized. The entire project took about half a month from preparation to execution, mainly to visually highly restore this theme full of neon feeling and underground atmosphere. The styling of Hatsune Miku Rabbit Hole leans towards a combination of cyberpunk and classic bunny girl elements, so for the costume, I chose a black patent leather bodysuit paired with white fluffy bunny ears, with the iconic large red bow on the chest. The wig features gradient twin tails from light grayish-blue to pink. The curl of the hair ends was repeatedly adjusted with a curling iron before the shoot to look good on camera, and it was matched with a heart hair clip and white teardrop hair stickers.

In terms of makeup, to fit the 2D setting, I wore blue contact lenses, drew red teardrop makeup under my left eye, and drew black cross lines on my forehead. The shooting location was chosen in an indoor studio in Qingdao. The environment is relatively enclosed, which just happened to be convenient for us to set up lighting. To create the dreamy and slightly hazy atmosphere of the Rabbit Hole, we used a large area of pink neon ambient lights. The patent leather material has very strong reflections, and a slight carelessness would result in large areas of blown-out white in the photos, so the photographer and I worked for a long time on the light positions, trying to use side-backlighting to outline body lines while avoiding direct light on the front.

Because the bodysuit is relatively tight, coupled with the red hollow-out and thin strap design at the waist, it took a lot of time to put on, take off, and adjust. The black Fishnet stockings and leg rings were also the focus of the shoot. To ensure a clean frame, every time I changed poses, I had to rearrange the Fishnet stockings to ensure the mesh was flat and symmetrical on the legs without weird wrinkles. The pink plush rabbit doll on the bed was a very good foreground prop; through large aperture blurring, it added layering and spatial sense to the image.

During the shoot, I tried several poses such as kneeling, turning back sideways, and clasping hands. To highlight the body curves, there were more side-profile angles, which could well display the Fishnet stockings and leg lines, as well as the hollow design on the back. The actions of raising hands and clasping in the first few pictures were mainly to express a playful yet guarded tension. Later on, because the wig was very long, it easily tangled together or blocked the face when rolling on the bed or turning around, so I needed to occasionally flick the hair strands with my hand to ensure the facial outline was complete. The physical consumption during the entire shooting process was quite heavy, especially when maintaining a kneeling posture where the knees bore a lot of pressure, and I had to rest several times midway to finish shooting the whole set of pictures.

During post-processing, I also tried my best to retain the pink ambient light at that time, without excessive color grading and skin smoothing, preserving the natural gloss of the patent leather and the texture of the skin. This set of pictures counts as a complete record of this styling. The overall light, shadow, and atmosphere basically met expectations, and I hope to share this special visual effect with everyone.
