Every single accent—from the velvet red rose at her bodice to the metallic crucifix pendants—was adjusted repeatedly on set to ensure pristine presentation before the camera.

The most exhausting element was undeniably her signature colossal greatsword. Featuring an immense blade edged with golden saw-tooth filigree, the prop carried substantial weight. To wield it steadily one-handed or braced with both hands while holding demanding combat poses, I had to continuously recalibrate my grip and arm leverage, all while taking great care not to let the blade scrape against nearby stone pillars or the throne set piece. To highlight the lacquered finish and the crimson-and-black cross motifs along the fuller, the photographer experimented with multiple lighting angles; blended with the deep red illumination filtering through the Gothic arches, the entire scene yielded a stark monochrome-and-crimson contrast brimming with menacing, dark atmospheric weight.

For the seated sequences, the challenge lay in posing atop the Gothic throne while flattering both leg contours and the layered drape of the skirt. By shifting my weight onto one hip with the other leg crossed naturally or extended forward, I was able to cleanly showcase the sheer black stockings and laced leather boots while letting the dark floral rose appliqués fan across the dais. Capturing the dynamic sweep of the crimson cape required coordinating with a wind machine and repositioning the fabric between takes. Transitioning into low crouches and striking slashes demanded extra caution to avoid stepping on the voluminous hem or snagging the delicate stockings. The scene dressing—accented with hanging birdcages and weathered skull props—sublimely elevated the shadowy gothic undertones.

Facial expression and eye direction were pivotal across this set. I intentionally minimized broad facial movement, relying on a subtle upward chin tilt and sideways glances to lock in that cold, imperious authority. While my arms ached intensely from supporting the oversized weaponry, I maintained an effortless composure, synchronizing my breathing with the photographer's shutter clicks. From light metering and wardrobe adjustments to the final takes, the shoot was physically demanding, with touch-ups for makeup and wig maintenance taking considerable time. Yet seeing the finished red-and-black chiaroscuro interplay alongside the arresting visual impact of the greatsword made every drop of sweat worthwhile. Managing such dark theatricality and massive props was a true test of stamina, styling, and photographic synergy, and bringing this anime persona into palpable reality was a deeply rewarding journey.
