[Chinatsu Remiel cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Delusion Angel Stage Photoshoot Re-creation

Our shoot for 'Delusion Angel' took extensive preparation, and we finally brought the concert stage presence from the official artwork to life in reality. I'm Chinatsu, and for this project, I was not only the cosplayer for Chinatsu Remiel, but also one of the organizers behind the entire shoot. To stay as faithful to the visual style of the official art as possible, we poured immense effort into our wardrobe and props. My mint-green wig was specifically styled and set, paired with a white collared shirt, red necktie, and a black flared puff skirt; the most eye-catching elements are undeniably the pink-and-white striped arm warmers and the red-and-white striped Stockings on my legs. The round pink backpack I carried was custom-crafted specifically to match her canonical design, while the belt buckles and thigh-strap details were calibrated through multiple fittings. Aria's pink twin tails and headphone accessories, combined with her black-striped white top, orange star accents, and the pair of white wings on her back, pack a massive visual punch. Nangong Yu's black twin tails feature vivid pink streaks, crowned by prominent pink and teal bows, which together with fluffy black plush arm sleeves and a red-and-black plaid tie deliver a look that is both adorable and effortlessly cool.

On the day of the shoot, we staged a drum kit, electric guitar, and synthesizer on the set, set against a stage backdrop adorned with heart motifs and English slogans to evoke an authentic live concert feel beneath the venue's spotlights. Our photographer, Qiangxi, handled the chiaroscuro and lighting with absolute professionalism. To capture the dynamic energy of an onstage performance, we experimented with numerous staging formations and poses. For instance, having me kneel in the foreground holding the prop microphone while Aria and Nangong Yu flanked either side created depth between foreground and background, highlighting our group synergy. In zones illuminated by magenta and violet strobes, we continuously fine-tuned our positions so facial lighting stayed balanced, and Qiangxi guided our micro-expressions throughout.

As a group cosplay project, stylistic cohesion and detailed accuracy across all costumes were paramount. We communicated extensively during pre-production, matching textile weights and prop paint finishes to mirror the texture of the original illustration. The instruments on set were far from mere static props—we picked them up and actively incorporated them into our poses, which not only enriched the composition but also helped us slip instantly into character. These ensembles feature multiple layered components, requiring significant time to suit up and adjust, especially when executing sweeping, energetic movements on stage where accessories had to remain secure.

The shooting session flowed exceptionally smoothly, and everyone delivered their absolute best energy before the camera. With the stage lights washing over us and the smoke machine hazing the background, that immersive concert feeling was palpable. Seeing the final results made every rehearsal and late-night preparation completely worthwhile, and I hope everyone can feel the passion we poured into the stage.
