This set of Ambience Synesthesia themed Surtr photos is finally finished and ready to be posted. The focus of this shoot was to showcase the character's ease, somewhat lazy yet highly oppressive aura, so we put a lot of thought into the set design, makeup, and styling, hoping to restore the unique artistic tone of Ambience Synesthesia.

Let's first talk about the overall styling coordination. For the wig, I specially picked a highly saturated red hair with a very smooth texture. The hair ends were naturally trimmed, and it was thinned out a bit when worn to avoid looking too heavy in front of the lens. The black curved horns on the head and the golden wing accessories on both sides are custom-made and very securely fixed, so they won't shift even during large-scale movements. In terms of clothing, the most eye-catching part of this white dress is actually the semi-translucent tulle pieced into the hemline, which is scattered with fine gold glitter. Under the warm-toned fill lights, it presents a very dreamlike, fine-grained highlight. Gold scale armor was wrapped around the arms, and a gold armor piece design that tightly fits the curves was done at the waist. Overall, under the interlacing of white and gold, it can showcase the figure without losing the character's own sharp feel.

The scene chose a retro workshop, with a very gorgeous stained-glass window in the background. With the help of the indoor warm light projection, the geometric patterns on the glass can form a great background layering behind me. The dark red velvet curtains on both sides, paired with the golden tassels at the top, instantly maximized the European retro vibe. The site was also decorated with a gramophone, an old-fashioned telephone, and some scattered silver tableware and books. These props seem casual, but placing them at the edge of the frame can fill the picture nicely and avoid the figure looking monotonous in the frame. To match the character setting, we also prepared a western-style long sword with a silver blade and black hilt, as well as a goblet filled with red wine.

During the actual shoot, I mainly wanted to try two emotional states. One is when picking up the sword, casting the gaze downward to slightly cool down the expression, cooperating with the posture leaning against the edge of the chair to highlight an easy combat preparation state. The other is putting down the weapon, sitting on the carpet or small wooden stool, holding the wine glass, and leaning back slightly to relax the entire body posture. This shoot specially experimented with two detail presentations: wearing shoes and going barefoot. Going barefoot can add a bit of naturalness and laziness, while putting on the golden high-heeled lace-up sandals, combined with the high-slit skirt hem, yields an ideal effect for elongating the leg lines.

Post-processing primarily unified the color tone, taking retro red and warm yellow as the primary colors and pressing down the shadows in the environment to give the colors more texture. The light transmission effect of the stained-glass window was also locally enhanced. The overall feeling after shooting this set of pictures is that this type of theme, which carries a bit of a slice-of-life vibe but doesn't lack gorgeous elements, actually heavily tests emotional delivery more than pure studio shoots. The entire shooting process was very smooth, successfully expressing the blend of classical and magical atmosphere found in the Arknights Ambience Synesthesia fan creations through professional cosplay photography techniques.
