[Robin Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail Collaboration Shoot — A Refreshing Convention Moment with Orange Juice

Holding this bottle of orange drink, I completed several shooting sets under the industrial metal trusses of the convention hall. Let's get straight to the point and share these photos.

This time I did a Robin cosplay from Honkai: Star Rail. Combining with the collaboration cosplay theme \"When the Whistle Blows at Silence\", I specially prepared this bottle of orange juice as the core interactive prop. The upper body features a white off-the-shoulder cropped top; the musical note pattern on the chest is printed very clearly, which, paired with a waist-baring cut, is not only convenient for moving around in a climate-controlled exhibition hall, but also visually conveys plenty of energy.

For the hair, I chose a light blue and light purple gradient with slightly flipped-out ends for a lively, playful feel. Fine glitter was intentionally dusted into the strands so that under the bright lighting at the top of the hall, the hair displays a texture almost like starlight. The pair of light purple feather wings on both sides of my shoulders were selected with a focus on weight and airiness; circulating air inside the venue or light breezes from walking naturally sway the feathers.

Makeup mainly emphasized the eyes, choosing teal contact lenses paired with long, curled eyelashes and glitter accents at the outer corners to make the gaze look focused and clear. Two small heart tattoo stickers below the collarbones, together with the blue choker featuring an orange ring around the neck, added delicacy in details. The golden floating halo on top of the head is a very interesting design; to prevent it from shifting while walking and shooting, I specially adjusted the balance point of the inner headband, keeping good stability alongside hair pinning.

Because the lighting at the top of the hall was uneven with scattered high and low light angles, I deliberately avoided direct top light during shooting. Instead, I utilized surrounding white display boards and ground reflections to obtain relatively soft and even facial illumination. This not only rendered makeup colors better, but also gave skin a natural glow. When holding the drink bottle prop, adjusting hand angles also required some care—avoiding having my palm block logos while ensuring the bottle didn't look dragged down by gravity, creating a relaxed and natural grip.

As a coser, accurately recreating a character requires pouring plenty of energy into costume fabrics, wig layering, and prop fabrication. To ensure the wings' silhouette this time, repeated adjustments were made to the internal framework and feather gluing density, aiming for both lightness and a full visual presence. The convention floor had heavy foot traffic, so walking around with prominent props required extra care regarding distance from surrounding attendees to avoid accidental bumps.

In such a large exhibition hall, lighting changes significantly over time. In the morning when crowds were sparse, ground reflections were more complete, yielding bright, clear tones; by afternoon as foot traffic picked up, the lively human touch and fun interactions with passersby added narrative depth to the photos. I feel that in casual cosplay and cosplay in general, coordinating and synergizing with photography and live environments is a very engaging experience.

Through this set of photos, I wanted to convey Robin's airy, cute, and energetic presence. Whether it's the anime convention photoshoot process on site or feedback received during the event, everything serves as motivation to continuously refine each photoshoot output.
