Putting on this Keqing Opulent Splendor outfit, I stand in front of the lens once again as A-Qing. The purple-toned Japanese-style backdrop, paired with paper lanterns and cherry blossom branches, perfectly echoes the light and ethereal design theme of the costume itself. The stitching of the black velvet tube top and the blue-purple gradient skirt hem, combined with the collar bow and strap details, gives the overall look a strong sense of layering. Paired with a matching short wig and cat-ear buns, the accuracy reached my expectations.

Before the shoot, I adjusted the thickness of the wig bangs and the curve of the sideburns so it would better fit my face shape. For the makeup, I chose purple-gray eyeshadow for blending instead of the conventional heavy eyeliner, aiming to make my gaze softer, fitting that un-drawn-sword composure of her daily state. The temperature on the shooting day was actually quite high, and this design of multi-layered tulle and stacked skirt hem wasn't very friendly to body temperature. However, under the guidance of the on-site photographer, I still tried my best to adjust to a relaxed and natural sitting posture.

To match the atmosphere of this look, I specially made several adjustments to the wrist straps and the tying method of the tulle, striving for a natural and fluid drape of the shoulder fabric and an elegant arrangement of the armlets. Settling in front of the lens, relying on the warm-and-cool contrast formed by the on-site purple ambient lights and the warm-toned paper lanterns, a clear separation was created between skin tone and the background, giving the entire frame more breathing room. Experiencing this scene from A-Qing's perspective, the sharp edges of daily work faded away, adding a touch of tranquility belonging to Liyue Harbor. Accumulating every minor shooting detail to present a complete piece of work is probably the most enjoyable part of doing a Keqing cosplay. I truly love the process behind Anime-style photography.
