[Nakatsu Shizuru cosplay] Rewrite: Casual Seated Moment in the Classroom

After shooting this set, my entire lower body was numb—this was truly the session where I most wanted to chop off my legs. During the shoot, to showcase the coordination between the red-and-white dress hem, White pantyhose, and brown platform boots, I had to strike various supportive poses on the floor. My upper thighs were constantly engaged and my core had to stay tight, otherwise the skirt hem would collapse; looking at those awkward angles and lines during post-production leg editing was even more desperate.

This time, a middle school classroom was chosen as the shooting location. Sitting on the wooden floor with the bento box prop placed in front created that empty after-school Classroom atmosphere where you are all alone. The hair was a gradient blonde with cat ears, featuring twin tails cascading on both sides; I was terrified the cat ears might fall off while moving around. The outfit was a modified red-and-white sailor uniform; that red ribbon tie was quite stiff, easily poking my neck when seated and slightly restricting movement.

To recreate the character's calm yet subtly playful demeanor from Rewrite, the photographer deliberately tuned the colors to warmer tones, utilizing the oblique light in the room to shoot from various angles in this Campus photography session. Maintaining this spread-leg pose shown in the photo was genuinely difficult—finding the balance was so tricky that relaxing even slightly meant tipping sideways.

The ruffled cuffs of this outfit were actually very wide, sometimes blocking my view when raising my hands, so I had to pay close attention to hand positioning. Although my mind was consumed with how to make the outfit look natural—just like the carefree feeling of 'grilled saury with salt' mentioned—in practice, the full-body styling, the tight feel of the White pantyhose, and the friction of the shoes on the floor made for quite an intense workout.

Sitting there gazing into the camera, striving to bring out Shizuru's innocence, I tried to keep a clear, wide-eyed gaze. I have to admit, forcing these anime poses in real life is physically demanding, but seeing the finished photos made all the exhaustion and leg soreness feel completely worthwhile.
