Speaking of today's Kanna cosplay photo shoot, we actually spent a lot of thought on the makeup, styling, and scene pairing in the early stages. The visual focus of this look lies in the collision of a fresh pink-and-white color scheme with a touch of vintage elements. The wig features a white base with a light purple gradient design. The pair of white curved horns on top of the head is made of a solid material with a very smooth polished surface; when wearing them, you need to find a good angle to keep them secure without pressing against the forehead. The dress adopts a patchwork cut of white and light pink, with a black key fret pattern designed at the neckline, and the string of thick black round beads hanging in front of the chest is one of the most recognizable decorations of the entire outfit. The sleeves are loose bell sleeves with ruffles, which nicely increase the character's three-dimensionality and softness when raising hands or holding small props. The lower body is paired with white opaque tights; this texture can beautifully shape the legs in front of the camera. The most eye-catching part is definitely that pair of sunflower-red criss-cross strappy chunky heels on my feet. This contrast of red and white, combined with the vintage style of the shoes themselves, creates a very strong visual tension for the entire lower body.

During the shoot, we set up two completely different environmental atmospheres. The first scene is a somewhat classical European-style small living room, featuring a European-style high-back chair with carved wooden trim and a pale yellow pattern, next to a white low cabinet with an hourglass and peacock feather decorations on it. Behind it, there is also a crystal chandelier, a stained glass picture frame, and a violin hanging on the wall. In this scene, I intentionally adopted a relaxed and lazy sitting posture, especially crossing my legs or stretching them forward to showcase the proportions of the white stockings and high heels. This composition and posture look more narrative, as if the character is enjoying a rare moment of rest in this vintage room.

The second scene leans more toward a dreamy girly style afternoon tea. We used a large amount of light pink and white gauze curtains to build an indoor space resembling a small tent, allowing light to scatter through the gauze and form a very soft diffuse reflection light. A small round table covered with a pale yellow jacquard lace tablecloth is set up here, with a three-tier dessert stand, several models of baked bread, white porcelain coffee cups, and cutlery placed on the tabletop. Gold-stamped thick books with black spines and a few decorative sunflowers and roses are also scattered around the corner of the table. In this scene, I mainly focused on presenting the character's playful and lively side, such as holding a cupcake with both hands close to the lens, or pinching the handle of a white porcelain cup with one hand, making an expression as if just about to enjoy afternoon tea. The pose of holding the props with both hands nicely utilized the bell cuffs of the sleeves, adding a lot of detail to the frame.

Shooting in a full set of equipment actually places certain demands on physical stamina and detail control. That big tail and the two horns on top of the head not only add weight, but when turning around or sitting sideways, a sense of balance is particularly important; with one careless move, the horns would rub against the gauze curtains behind. At the same time, with this pair of red strappy chunky high heels, I needed to pay more attention to ankle stability when walking. However, through the cooperation of the makeup artist and the photographer, we excellently captured the expressions and gazes of several key movements—for example, when sitting upright on the chair, my feet landed exactly at a point of balance in the frame. The overall result turned out better than I expected. The restoration of the costume, the cooperation of the props, and the atmosphere of the scene all reached the anticipated state. I think this is also the best reward for every heartfelt preparation and earnest communication. Although the cosplay photography process was a bit tiring, seeing the final photos brought an extraordinary sense of achievement.
