Shooting this set of photos for Officer Judy is actually of great commemorative significance. Back when the movie was first released, I was deeply moved by this brave and strong rabbit, and at that time, I thought I absolutely must document the image of this outstanding Zootopia police officer through the lens. Although I am only releasing the photos now, the love for the character itself in the photos has no time limit. To restore Officer Judy's look, I indeed spent a lot of thought on the costume and props. This deep blue police uniform was custom-made, and to reflect Judy's clean and capable temperament, the tailoring was specially selected to be relatively form-fitting yet allowing free movement. The police badge on the chest, the camouflage tactical belt around the waist, and those small pouches—not a single detail could be left behind. Of course, the most indispensable things are that pair of bunny ears and the soft gray rabbit tail behind. The exact moment I put them on, I instantly felt a sense of immersion into the character. The carrot prop was a must-prepare, as after all, it is Judy's signature item; during the shoot, it was not just a decoration but also helped me accomplish quite a few actions.

With my post description mentioning 'the last one is the frustrated version,' everyone can probably guess that on the day of the shoot, I was trying my best to find Judy's various emotions and states. The benefit of White background photography is that the background is very clean, allowing all visual focus to be concentrated on the coser's body language and facial expressions. When posing, I referenced many of the character's classic moments from the movie—there's the capable vibe of threatening with a gun, the playful feeling of catching a carrot, the rigor of showing handcuffs, and finally that discouraged yet resilient state when Judy encounters setbacks. The photographer kept guiding my emotions from the side, and the rapid switching from 'majestic and awe-inspiring' to 'silly and dorky' was indeed very fun, giving this set of photos different layers.

The reason why the character Judy is so loved is not just because of how cute she is, but more because of her persistence in firmly believing that 'anyone can be anything.' In the process of shooting this cosplay, I also tried to integrate her enthusiasm when facing a new job, her unyielding spirit when facing doubts, and that occasional small clumsiness into my demeanor. Crawling and kneeling in the studio while wearing boots and knee pads was actually quite tiring, but to present the best effect, trying the actions a few more times was totally worth it. Although the clothes were quite thick and I had to keep the bunny ears from collapsing, a full day of shooting left me with a huge sense of achievement, making me feel like I truly became a Bunny Cop of Zootopia for a brief moment.
