This set features Durandal from Honkai Impact 3rd, specifically her Dea Anchora battlesuit. Due to a minor issue with the previously mentioned star anchor accessories, I switched directly to signature weapon-edition props for this photoshoot.

Crafting and fitting this costume took a lot of thought. The deep-red jacquard fabric paired with rigid golden armor plates and the cutout design at the chest and waist are very demanding on one's figure. Putting it on and taking it off was more troublesome than expected, requiring a helping hand. The angle in Photo 1 is my personal favorite—it beautifully showcases the collarbone lines and the golden geometric adornments on the chest. During frontal selfies, the blue contact lenses combined with highlighted eye makeup captured that unique, steady, and commanding aura characteristic of Dea Anchora. Sourcing the wig also took quite some time; the golden-yellow shade really tests light luster, and after putting it on, I had to trim the bangs to the right length myself. Fortunately, the finished result matched the overall tone of the outfit nicely. The white-and-pink petal hairpiece accented with red beads harmonized smoothly with the main reddish-brown palette.

The backdrop was a simple indoor environment; the off-white wall reflected light nicely. When shooting, we mainly used overhead lighting to brighten facial shadows and preserve the pattern details on the fabric. My state back then was simply snapping a few candid shots during breaks at the Anime convention without forcing complicated poses. The hands-on-hips pose in Photo 2 clearly reveals the waist cutouts and red gloves, presenting the complete silhouette of the look. Portraying a character like this demands utmost attention to overall fidelity—even a slightly misaligned accessory can ruin the visual appeal. Fortunately, thorough preparations made this Dea Anchora cosplay photoshoot a deeply satisfying achievement.
