The core tone of this Jeanne d'Arc (Alter) purple gown shoot was built on the collision between the dark tones of a vintage tavern and purple-red lighting. For styling, the black horns against the silver-white hair created a striking visual impact. The outfit features a satin purple dress whose surface sheen reflected beautifully under warm yellow lighting, with black lace accents neatly balancing the vibrant purple.

For props, we used a poker table inscribed with 'TEXAS HOLD'EM' alongside a classic bottle of Baileys Irish Cream. The carved wooden bar counter and warm-lit liquor shelves served as the backdrop, flawlessly enhancing the character's cold, haughty demeanor. To complement the overall mood, deep purple pantyhose was paired with towering red platform heels, bringing maximum color impact to the composition.

In terms of posing, the focus was on accentuating leg lines. The first shot—reclining on the bar counter with legs crossed—used a low camera angle to elongate the leg lines; leaning over the poker table emphasized relaxed curves, while raising a glass beside the counter conveyed the character's colder persona through natural interactions with the liquor bottle. The final shot of biting the tip of a purple-gloved finger required precise control over facial muscles and gaze, perfectly capturing an enigmatic, alluring presence.

The shooting process was quite relaxed since the color scheme stood out effortlessly against the vintage set. Post-processing focused on deepening purple undertones in the shadows and boosting highlights to bring out the rich texture of the purple pantyhose. Paying attention to dress folds and lighting across the stockings was vital, as these nuances dictate overall refinement. In a dimly lit tavern, lighting angles are paramount—both to keep facial contours crisp and to define sharp body lines—requiring meticulous on-set adjustments.

Subsequent close-ups and full-length shots aimed to capture the graceful drape of the purple satin dress in motion. Since movement shifts fabric draping, ensuring the hem didn't bunch into awkward shapes before clicking the shutter was essential. Hand poses in gloves—such as holding a glass or lightly brushing a cheek—added organic flow to the tipsy theme. Combined with scattered chips on the table and textured wooden pillars, the composition naturally gained rich depth.

For color grading, I shifted overall tones toward purple-red to complement the warm yellow lighting of the vintage bar, keeping skin tones fair while making the purple pantyhose and wine-red heels pop with vivid contrast. This interplay of warm and cool lighting effectively conveyed the character's icy glamour. Beyond standard reclining and seated postures, the poses embraced a slightly intoxicated mood. Striking the balance between seductive charm and refined elegance meant letting the gaze drift gently rather than locking too intensely into the lens—a state that best resonated with the character's persona.
