[Shameimaru Aya cosplay] Posing Moments of the Wind Girl: Restoring the Legend of Speed

The title \"Legend of Speed\" is truly fitting for today's photoset; after all, Aya's speed is obvious to everyone. Of course, the \"all real news\" at the photoshoot venue is also a special record based on this Shameimaru Aya cosplay from Touhou Project.

Looking at the makeup, to recreate Aya's clear yet subtly mysterious red eyes, I picked highly translucent red contact lenses. For eye makeup, rather than emphasizing heavy eyeshadow, I softly smudged gentle red eyeshadow at the outer corners and lower eyelids, pairing it with deep bangs to create a cool, unpretentious aura for this Anime-style portrait. The base makeup was kept as clear as possible to highlight 3D facial bone structure, while the lip color used a hydrating nude-pink tone, balancing the impact of the red eyes without making the makeup look muddy.

The wig was the top priority of this character restoration. Aya's long black hair seems casual, but actually possesses strong layering and airy volume. While styling the wig, I specifically emphasized the piecy feel at the ends, leaving the bangs slightly uncombed to preserve a fluffy, windblown messiness. When making movements during Cosplay experience testing, this slightly gravity-defying hair better fits her airy characteristics as a wind maiden. The side locks were just long enough to frame the face, flattering face contours nicely.

Next are the costume details. The small red brocade hat on the head with white piping is very eye-catching. The red-and-gold braided cords hanging down on both sides paired with large white fluffy pom-poms are signature elements of this look. The black ribbon bow at the collar features exquisitely embroidered white lace trim, bestowing a unique aesthetic that fuses Japanese style cosplay with Western elements. The gold thread and Japanese floral embroidered sash across the chest is rich and thick; its bird-and-flower patterns and blue-orange color scheme are major visual highlights, while the white striped long-sleeved inner layer and black-and-white lace cuff splicing further highlight layered depth.

During filming, I prepared two different poses. The pose in Photo 1, lightly touching my forehead with a raised hand, resembles Aya as a Tengu reporter noticing interesting news material and preparing to jot down notes, carrying a playful yet sharp vibe. The pose in Photo 2, adjusting the black chest bow with both hands, appears more confident and composed, displaying her sharp professionalism during daily rounds. Poses don't need to be complex; rather, the key is weaving the character's natural carelessness and sharpness into the frozen frame.

This shoot deliberately chose a simple indoor setting to avoid cluttered background distractions, allowing viewers to focus attention on character detail restoration. For lighting, soft illumination guaranteed a clean face and crisp costume textures. Every time I do cosplay for Touhou Project, the greatest joy lies in getting as close as possible to the aura of these classic figures within limited conditions. Although photos are static, I hope through the lens to convey that invisible breeze belonging to the wind maiden.
