My Cosplay appearance features Panty from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, a costume designed with extremely strong color contrast. A white poofy dress and feathered wings form the primary visual of the upper body, while the blonde wig yields lovely diffuse reflections under lights. Combined with the metallic texture of the golden choker and armlets, light striking metal accessories creates crisp hard reflections. In accessory selection, golden calf straps and cream-white high heels harmonized well, giving lower-body visuals a sense of extension.

This shoot tried its best to emphasize character features. For instance, with the dual gun props featuring a white gun body paired with a cyan-blue front tip, controlling reflective surfaces on location or in a studio is crucial—otherwise, messy reflections easily expose plastic textures. Fortunately, the AD200 paired with a softbox produced gentle gradients, keeping surface sheen on the gun barrels just right. The weight of the wings required shoulder pull for support during wear, so frame stability called for extra care during forward-leaning or wide-twisting poses.

Shooting on-site at conventions requires seizing specific camera angles. The shots interleaved high-angle overhead shots with low-angle look-up perspectives, better restoring her character setting of slight condescension combined with agility. Low-angle shots paired with a deep squatting pose elongate leg lines, which, alongside skirt and strap designs, help showcase her physique traits. Additionally, sitting on a high stool while lifting the skirt hem requires subtle core engagement; if too relaxed, waistline folds form easily, compressing the torso and making the white top and red bow tie look cramped.

The seated photo actually required subtle core support, with arms naturally draped near the knees while keeping the guns from obscuring the face. Holding dual gun props in practice requires natural finger placement without stiff gripping; relaxing wrists appropriately makes the overall frame look less tense. During shooting, dynamic snapshots were also captured according to on-site lighting positions, such as kneeling on one knee while aiming dual guns with both hands. This pose required leaning forward roughly 15 degrees, relying on legs and hips for balance; calf straps shifted slightly during muscle tension, which served as authentic physical feedback.

For post-processing, adjustments mainly targeted skin tone and color temperature contrast with ambient lights. Since convention lighting environments are usually a mixture of warm and cold light sources, widening cool-warm contrast slightly enhanced character traits. For blonde hair, highlight saturation was raised slightly so hair strands displayed richer layers under backlighting or side-backlighting. White clothing easily suffers detail loss, so highlight roll-off in retouching was handled with care, preserving shading layers around the red bow on the chest as much as possible in this Anime-style photography effort.

This costume has relatively many accessories, making on-site storage and organizing a test in itself. Before switching poses each time, waist and leg accessories needed rearranging to ensure clean, crisp presentation in frame. Overall, this convention parade season photo shoot achieved expected results, with equipment choices aiding quick capture of such high-contrast characters on location. For characters with intense color palettes, directional light allocation is the key determining factor for quality output. Switching composition angles brings entirely different visual experiences to the same character, and camera positions attempted this time successfully highlighted her lively yet powerful traits in these Convention photos.
