The CICF convention photos for this shoot are finally organized! As Aysha from Open Source Universe, this battle suit featuring a black-and-pink plaid pattern combined with glossy patent leather carries exceptional texture. The small top hat accessory and the gold bell around the neck are packed with details, while the blue twintail wig radiates a wondrous sheen interweaving cyberpunk and magical girl aesthetics under the studio lights. To shoot this photoset, we specially borrowed an NVIDIA RTX 5080 display box as a prop; since the character naturally possesses a technological feel in the original lore, it paired surprisingly well with the graphics card's hardcore vibe.

The studio setup on site was very thoughtful. A blue spotlight on the left and a white main light source on the right created a warm-cold contrast, making the reflections on the patent leather boots and gloves appear more three-dimensional. Standing all afternoon in high-heeled over-the-knee boots was indeed exhausting, but seeing the leg lines smoothed out seamlessly by the boots in the final shots made everything feel completely worth it. I attempted several poses during shooting—from cool single-handed waist-propping, to an elegant seated pose holding a cane, down to dynamic action snapshots swinging my arms—each capturing a different facet of Aysha's charm.

What pleasantly surprised me was taking a duo photo later with another cosplayer friend who had silver-white hair. She wore a black-and-blue mecha-style outfit, and sitting together on a round platform—one in blue and one in white—against a background wall packed with matching GPU boxes gave the picture a rich narrative feel. Although this was just a brief log from the convention, one could truly sense everyone's enthusiasm for the Open Source Universe worldview. The costume's neckline and waistline designs highlighted body contours without losing the sleekness of a battle maiden, while the photographer constantly adjusted angles to capture both the patent leather texture and the airy flow of hair simultaneously in this Anime-style photography session.

As my first attempt cosplaying this type of tech-style character, I studied her demeanor and movement habits in advance, striving to imbue every gesture with a confident yet slightly cunning vibe. Many onlookers gathered at the shooting site, and fellow enthusiasts came over to inquire where to buy the wig and boots—such interactions are truly the most captivating part of conventions. In post-processing, we only made basic light and shadow adjustments to preserve the sharpness of the original photos, as the outfit's own color saturation was already eye-catching enough. If there's another chance next time, I'd love to try more dynamic action snapshots, like spinning to swing the twintails or capturing moments when the cane swings out motion blurs, which should carry even greater tension. Looking at these final photos now, the focus at every shutter click remains vivid in memory. The setting of Open Source Universe contains many wondrous elements, and Aysha's design happens to blend sweetness with hardcore aesthetics; bringing her to life at the real convention floor was truly a wonderful experience.
