Bringing along newly crafted weapons and adjusted costume details, I shot this set of Convention photos on the railway tracks outside the convention area. In previous iterations, I was constantly deliberating over the waist strap structure and the layered feel of the skirt hem, and this time it finally reached a state I'm quite satisfied with. The Scythe prop measures nearly two meters in total length; gripping it and posing required keen attention to the center of gravity, especially when standing sideways so the blade tip just skimmed the ground—neither looking sluggish nor losing that tension of being ready to strike at any moment. The combination of Black stockings cosplay and platform shoes makes the leg lines visually crisper, aligning perfectly with the character's inherently cool temperament. The ground was actually quite rough during the shoot, and standing for long periods caused shoe soles to get caught in gravel, but the angle captured by the photographer seamlessly blended the vanishing perspective of the tracks with the convention LED screens in the background, giving the entire frame a surreal feeling of crossing between reality and the game realm in Zenless Zone Zero. Although Convention photos lack the meticulous polish of studio shoots, this authentic texture under natural light actually feels closer to the character's everyday presence roaming the streets. Additionally, the costume fabric utilized stiffer twill, which, paired with metal buckles and leather straps, made subtle rustling sounds when moving; though inaudible on recording, it offered a much stronger sense of personal immersion while wearing it. The Scythe prop was repainted with a matte finish on the white blade coating so it wouldn't glare excessively under harsh outdoor light. Overall, the completeness of these Convention photos met expectations from composition to costume condition, serving as a dedicated and heartfelt creative submission for this Ellen Joe cosplay.
