[Ju Fufu cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero: Senior Martial Sister Stretching - Image 1

A little kitty stretching—wait, no, I'm a tiger! You have to call me Senior Martial Sister! This Zenless Zone Zero Ju Fufu cosplay Convention photo comes from yet another collaboration between me and photographer 家黑. When discussing our shooting concept, we agreed that we shouldn't merely show Ju Fufu's cute and fluffy side, but also highlight her commanding presence as the respected senior martial sister. Lying on the floor like this might look simple, but it actually demands serious core strength: hands bracing the ground, upper body slightly raised, keeping the whole center of gravity steady, all while making sure that huge Fluffy tail behind me holds an elegant curve. For this single shot, I stayed low on the floor for quite a while, repeatedly adjusting my posture to capture that feline blend of characteristic languor and authoritative control.

Looking at the outfit's details, the yellow jacket paired with black leather gloves and metallic-finish forearm bracers brings out a strong combat flair. However, supporting myself on the floor with leather gloves tended to slip, requiring me to constantly adjust the pressure points of my palms. The most eye-catching feature is definitely that giant orange-brown fluffy tail; to keep it voluminous and natural, I intentionally fitted an internal support armature inside so that no matter how I moved, the tail maintained its three-dimensional shape, while the deep blue ribbon tied onto it added an extra touch of delicate charm. The black-and-white animal ears on my head also needed micro-adjustments depending on the camera angle to ensure they looked adorable even in top-down shots.

Mastering the gaze was vital. I wore bright green contact lenses, hoping to convey Ju Fufu's lively, spirited personality laced with a hint of tsundere through the lens. As this was a convention photo, the surrounding environment was fairly bustling, with crew members and other setups visible in the background. In post-processing, photographer 家黑 cleverly darkened the background into a black-and-white treatment, making the color contrast dramatically sharper so that the subject popped instantly. Soft light spilling over the yellow jacket and hair gave the entire scene an exceptionally clear and translucent texture.

Speaking of this character's appeal, I feel it lies right in her contrast: she can be a spoiled little kitty cuddling up, but the moment duty calls, she is the dependable senior martial sister of the squad. In my posture, I deliberately lowered my waist, elongated my back line, tucked my left hand slightly, and relaxed my right hand, evoking a poised stance ready to pounce. The temperature in the hall was on the chilly side, but to keep the movement fluid and extended, I tried my best to keep my muscles loose. During the shoot, 家黑 kept guiding me to look forward into the distance rather than staring directly at the lens, allowing him to capture more candid, authentic moments. As for securing the tail, it was strapped around my waist with a custom belt; while quite sturdy, stretching still tugged at the fabric around my waistline, though luckily the final images turned out completely seamless. Although the process was tiring, seeing the finalized shot and holding that irreplaceable sense of accomplishment from breathing life into a character made it all worthwhile. This set of Zenless Zone Zero Ju Fufu photos is not just a cosplay showcase, but my visual interpretation of who she truly is.
