This Sunna cosplay look presented at Firefly ACG Expo brought a sweet, cool, and slightly rebellious vibe overall. Right after changing into this outfit and walking over to the floor-to-ceiling glass windows at the venue, several passing friends commented on how refreshing the color palette looked. The mint green short hair paired with star hairclips, along with the bright pink eyeshadow I intentionally used to echo the striped elements on the outfit, gave the entire makeup look a more vibrant anime girl flair.

The core of the entire outfit lies in the stacking of layers. The upper body features a basic white button-up shirt subtly trimmed with ruffle edges so it doesn't look overly stiff. The tie with a red background and white star pattern accents the chest perfectly, creating a clear visual focal point. For the bottom, I chose a black multi-tiered ruffled short skirt whose puffy silhouette sways in a lovely arc when moving. The arm sleeves and slouch socks on the legs feature bold pink-and-white stripes; this vivid, bright color combination pops brilliantly against the pure black and white base, fitting Sunna's lively and nimble cute girl cosplay aura.

The pink strap on the outer side of my leg wasn't just decorative; it extended the leg lines during standing poses or movements, enriching the layering of the lower outfit. Many people at the venue also noticed the small bows on my choker and leg ring—retaining cute elements on cool gear was truly a clever design touch.

During the shoot, we utilized the natural light outside the venue's floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Outdoor light made the color tone of the entire photograph very clear and bright. The posture in the first full-body shot displayed the combination of leg socks and shoes perfectly. I specially picked platform shoes to elongate proportions, which, paired with a subtle semi-squatting stance, made me look energized and ready to spring into action. The blurred crowd and city building silhouettes in the background heightened the bustling atmosphere of the anime convention without making the frame feel overly cluttered. The third half-body close-up zoomed in on prop interactions and expressions, feeling more casual and spontaneous.

Cosplaying this character really tests overall coordination because there are quite a few elements, and one must manage to keep it detailed without feeling chaotic. Pink-and-white stripes, black ruffled skirts, red ties, and mint green wigs—achieving visual balance among these colors in the same frame required careful positioning relative to light and shadow. While taking photos, I continuously adjusted my position based on glass reflections at the venue so that my facial contours held up well under strong light. In short, from makeup and styling to props and shooting angles, this look was well-suited for capturing in an anime-style photography environment like Firefly ACG Expo, making for a thoroughly enjoyable shooting experience.
