[Ellen cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Shark High School Girl After-School Moment

Before my makeup fades and right after kicking off those heavy platform shoes, I'm rushing to share today's Zenless Zone Zero Ellen cosplay shoot. We selected a minimalist, all-white cyc studio without distracting set dressing, which placed immense focus on the styling, silhouette, and raw visual tension.

Starting with hair and makeup: the wig was straight black hair with blunt bangs, accented by vivid crimson gradient dip-dyed ends—Ellen's most iconic hallmark. For hair accessories, I selected silver sawtooth hairpins and zig-zag clips that cast sharp metallic glints under the strobes. I wore crimson contact lenses, matching my lips and nails in a classic true red to forge a striking visual contrast against the monochrome wardrobe. The outfit featured a pure white short-sleeved button-down with an open collar, paired with a white-piped black miniskirt layered over grey patterned under-shorts. Crucially, the look was completed by semi-sheer Black stockings and chunky-heeled lace-up platform shoes; this combination lengthened leg lines dramatically while adding an edgy, rebellious flair alongside the black choker around my neck.

For props, I relied solely on a caramel-colored lollipop. Such a minimalist item is remarkably effective on set, adding compositional depth while giving the hands an organic resting place. The first photo shows me seated on the floor with legs crossed, holding up the lollipop in my right hand while gesturing casually beside my cheek with the left—a pose that required sustained lower-body tension to keep leg contours taut. In the second frame, I leaned against the wall with both legs elevated and crossed in mid-air; this perspective-heavy dynamic action was planned meticulously with the photographer, delivering punchy visual impact. The third frame captured me sitting on a mustard-yellow cylindrical cushion, leaning slightly forward with the lollipop grazed against my lips, pairing a relaxed sprawl with a languid, dismissive gaze.

Throughout the shoot, I continuously chased Ellen's aloof, effortlessly cool demeanor—that post-bell weariness of an Anime high school girl who simply refuses to be bothered. The expression could neither be overly fierce nor sugary-sweet; navigating that subtle, aloof tension was an engaging challenge. White shirts blow out easily against pure white backgrounds while black skirts and stockings quickly swallow shadow details, requiring precise lighting ratios and multiple strobe recalibrations. To preserve the sharp curve of the bangs, I touched up the wig with hairspray between takes, while keeping the skirt folds smooth and tidy.

This outfit holds numerous subtle details, like the red-and-white graphic prints across the grey under-shorts that pair with the black footwear for a sporty campus vibe. To prevent the platform shoes from looking clunky, I consciously pointed my insteps in both sitting and standing stances. Embodying characters with bespoke props and multi-toned wigs takes heavy upfront preparation, but seeing the sharp, crisp results makes the effort entirely worthwhile.
