This first-person perspective share instantly maximizes the shooting experience of this Ellen Joe cosplay. The Zenless Zone Zero shark girl maid outfit cosplay I chose is highly demanding of the character's sense of balance in terms of design, especially that massive black-and-white color-blocked shark tail at the back. It not only requires internal skeletal support but also demands consideration of the center of gravity when posing to avoid visual awkwardness. The black top coordinates with layers of white ruffles, combined with red and black interwoven stitching and strap details, giving the entire outfit both a maid's cuteness and a combatant's efficiency. The silver metal collar at the neck and the leather sleeves on the arms, along with the perfect embellishment of the red shoulder armor, blend the cool aura of Anby Zero into this outfit.

And pairing it with these black stockings and black chunky-heeled lace-up high heels is the key to showcasing the aura of the entire look. The visual elongation brought by the black stockings, combined with the stretching effect of the high heels, makes the legs look straighter and more slender when shooting standing poses. Especially in the look sitting on the desks and chairs in image 3, the lines stretched out by the crossed legs beautifully showcase the character's laziness and composure outside of her decisive killing nature. Besides that, the giant composite weapon in hand was the highlight of the shoot. It combines a firearm's long-range structure with a heavy blade's hacking functionality, and the red, white, and black color scheme is extremely eye-catching. The kneeling stance holding the large blade horizontally in image 6 was a sense of tension that the photographer and I communicated for a long time to capture. Because the weapon's center of gravity is slightly forward, supporting this posture with one hand truly requires arm strength, but to replicate this action characterized as a "slaughter hunter," one must tighten the muscle core.

The scene for this shoot was specially chosen as a classroom containing overturned wooden desks, chairs, and a green chalkboard. This environment is perfect for creating that cold contrast atmosphere, which, combined with a wide-angle low-camera upward shot, makes it seem as though she is genuinely patrolling an abandoned stronghold after school. The image in image 1, where the giant weapon leans against her side, carries a sense of casual danger. In images 2 and 3, I chose to pick up the red lollipop prop to try and neutralize the heavy oppression brought by the big blade, because in the original character setting, such cold-faced warriors often display some cute and casual contrast behaviors.

Actually, the greatest joy of cosplay is not just whether the clothes fit perfectly, but more about whether you can capture the soul of the character in front of the lens. Whether solemnly shouldering the weapon or casually leaning on the chair, the moments captured by the photographer from various tricky angles all rely on your own expressiveness. Direct flash lighting was used this time, ensuring that the character's skin tone and complexion were highlighted; the dark background was dimmed out, making the protagonist's glossy texture highly prominent. I have always felt that the greatest charm of the character Ellen Joe lies in that feeling of being detached from the group yet remaining thoroughly reliable, so during the shoot, one must avoid overly sweet expressions, retaining a touch of laziness within the coolness. When sorting photos and selecting images, this set of horizontal high-tension photos indeed recorded many brilliant moments; I am very satisfied with the sense of force during dynamic snapshots and the echo between black stockings and equipment in static compositions. Finally, to share a little shooting easter egg with everyone, the end of that giant blade actually has a balance counterweight when lifted up; the prop maker was truly dedicated. This photo output feels like unlocking many new photography angles, and the cooperation with the photographer was exceptionally seamless, making it a very wonderful attempt at dimensionalizing a 2D image, preserving the coolness and cuteness of Zenless Zone Zero's shark girl in these photos.
