[Alice Cosplay] Goddess of Victory: Nikke: The Gap Charm of a Bunny Girl in Sneakers by the Bar

Ditching the constraints of traditional high heels for a Bunny girl outfit, choosing to pair a White thigh-highs outfit with sneakers this time was probably the main personal twist I wanted to emphasize in this photoset. Wearing a bright pink patent leather high-cut bodysuit, the fabric gives off a distinct cool metallic sheen, reflecting vivid highlights across the chest and waist under the magenta ambient lights of the bar. A crisp white collar and a small pink bow tie soften the boldness of the glossy bodysuit, adding a touch of playfulness. The giant bunny ears on my head are firm and well-supported, complemented by a plush white pom-pom on top, letter hairpins beside the hairpiece, and a cute little carrot embellishment—making the whole look true to the character's setting while brimming with casual charm.

When most people see a Bunny girl outfit, high heels are their instant expectation. However, I intentionally swapped them out for a pair of low-top white-and-blue sneakers. White thigh-highs naturally convey a sweet and soft feeling, which, when paired with easy slip-on sneakers, visually tempers the intense sensuality of the tight bodysuit, bringing out a refreshing, sporty casualness instead. During the shoot, whether sitting on the bar, kneeling on the counter holding chips, or just standing casually, these sneakers gave me immense freedom of movement. I didn't have to tense my calf muscles to balance like I would in heels, which allowed my expressions and body language to remain relaxed. I'm personally thrilled with this gap-moe styling.

The location chosen was a wine-themed bar. The wooden wine racks behind me were lined with bottles of all shapes and sizes, glowing faintly under the dim lighting. The red-brick background wall, illuminated by spotlights tuned to magenta and amber, imbued the scene with a strong retro-cyberpunk mood for this atmospheric photography set. Sitting on the edge of the wooden bar counter or on an adjacent black barstool, side lighting caught the edges of my wig and facial contours. The wig itself featured a silver-white base with subtle pink highlights; fluffy twin tails and neat bangs made my face look petite, while hair strands gleamed with a neon-like soft glow in the hazy light.

During the shoot, photographer @Alma玛 and I worked in perfect harmony. He excelled at utilizing spatial composition—using bottles as blurred foreground elements or employing wide apertures to melt the layered wine racks into deep background color blocks. The round poker chips in my hands served as great interactive props, whether held between fingers or tossed like coins for candid shots, adding a narrative touch to the photos. The high-cut bodysuit design demands sleek leg lines, but putting on the white thigh-highs immediately elongated the visual center. Kneeling or perched on the high barstool, a snippet of ankle peeking between the stockings and sneaker cuffs created rich visual layering.

In the realm of cosplay, finding ways to transition a character naturally from 2D into 3D real-world settings is always fascinating. Rather than building over-the-top stage backdrops, using a common social space like a bar made the Bunny girl outfit feel less out of place. It felt as though on a random weekend evening, the character had actually walked into a real-world tavern, sitting at the bar sipping a glass of juice. In post-processing, we preserved ample warm-and-cool contrast; the pink outfit radiated a dreamy halo under the mix of incandescent and red-blue lights, delivering the exact visual tension I aimed to convey. Being able to showcase every detail of this look within this space was immensely fulfilling.
