For this "Spring Letter" photoshoot, I chose a sunlit high school classroom setting to present this school-themed Firefly cosplay look from Honkai: Star Rail. The foundation of the hair and makeup starts with the long, straight silver-white wig featuring a soft mint-green gradient. Paired with the bow hair accessory and light-blue headband, along with purple colored contact lenses, it visually captures the character's signature charm.

In terms of styling, the costume features a white long-sleeved uniform with a dark gray sailor collar. The alternating light-blue and yellow ribbon bow and gold buttons at the neckline, along with delicate gold embroidered patterns along the hem, elevate the outfit's sophistication. The lower half is styled with a yellow-and-gray pleated plaid skirt; this color combination isn't overly flashy, providing a grounded academic aesthetic instead. Paired with a White thigh-highs outfit and black platform creeper shoes adorned with silver bow accents, it visually elongates the leg proportions effectively. Under the gentle spring light, the entire ensemble feels refreshing with a touch of vintage scholarly elegance.

The location was deliberately chosen in this vintage classroom featuring natural wood desks, chairs, and rear storage cubbies. The deep green blackboard and wooden set-square tools served as wonderful background elements. To enrich the composition layers, we prepared several English hardcover books as props—such as volumes embossed with "Inspiration" and "Wonderful", and an illustrated book with geographic elements on the cover. These could be held in hand or placed on the desk to naturally position my arms and direct my eye line.

For posing, we explored various natural states across different camera angles: sitting on the desk edge with crossed legs looking back over the shoulder, candid snaps standing before the blackboard holding books, and resting my chin in my hands on wooden steps. The key to shooting this kind of Campus cosplay portrait lies in conveying an effortless, casual presence, so I avoided staying tense, keeping my shoulder and neck lines naturally relaxed. Still, throughout the shoot, I constantly checked whether the wig blocked my eyes, if the skirt pleats fell neatly in the same direction, and if the white over-the-knee socks slipped down after walking—essential details ensuring the photos look complete and polished.

With large glass windows, natural light served as our primary light source. The gentle afternoon spring light bathed the wooden furniture and plaid skirt, bringing out rich textures. The overall shoot went smoothly, though adjusting styling details and postures took considerable time. Every character demands a different approach; Campus cosplay especially tests the harmonious integration between the subject, props, and setting. Blending this "Spring Letter" concept, this set leaves behind a nostalgic campus memory belonging to this character in Honkai: Star Rail. Time spent doing what you love is always fulfilling; this record concludes here, and I look forward to bringing more interesting visual perspectives next time!
