[Elysia Cosplay] Pink Summer Swimsuit: Even More Striking Paired with Herrscher of Human: Ego Wig

For this summer swimsuit look with short pink hair, pairing it with the Herrscher of Human: Ego wig yielded an effect with truly high compatibility for Elysia from Honkai Impact 3rd. When initially choosing this wig, I fell in love with its light yet layered hair strand texture, the white-pink gradient details, and the subtle fine shimmers on the strands that looked utterly dreamy under light. Compared to previous styles I've used, this wig frames face shapes much better—bangs don't look overly heavy, and loose strands on both cheekbones soften jawlines nicely, which is a major bonus for pulling off Elysia swimsuit skins.

Since summer is here and temperatures are rising, shooting swimsuit themes became a very natural choice. This time I chose a light purple color-blocked white ruffled bikini. The top is a halter-neck style in light purple with a metal ring front accent, which adds layering while shifting visual focus onto collarbones and shoulder-neck lines. Outside, I layered a matching white semi-transparent ruffled shawl; because its material is thin and airy, it doesn't make the look appear bulky, instead imparting a graceful lightness. The lower half features matching light purple swimsuit bottoms with white ruffled stitching on edges. This overall macaron color palette paired with the character's pink hair creates a visually refreshing Anime summer feel, perfect for summer-themed shoots.

Makeup-wise, I kept purple contact lenses as the visual focal point, paired with deep black eyeliner and curled false eyelashes to elongate eye shapes, making eyes look larger and more spirited. Lip makeup favored an orange-pink juicy lip glaze over intensely dark matte reds to maintain the charming sweetness without appearing overly mature. The glossy finish from lip glaze also enhanced skin translucency in close-up shots.

The shooting location was an indoor-built ice cream dessert station featuring a huge pink ICE CREAM sign in the background, complete with thematic ice cream models as decorations alongside tiled water pool platforms at foot level, creating an immediate summer water park illusion. The prop in my hand was a pink inflatable donut swim ring; this color echoed my wig perfectly, enabling playful poses that made the picture lively and fun rather than bland.

Although shot indoors, lighting setup was extremely soft, rendering great skin texture in final photos. During close-ups, light nicely outlined hair strand details and braided textures; those tiny glitter flakes on strands truly gave a fairy-descending feel under lighting, which is one reason I'm so pleased with this wig. I really love the composition of the first close-up photo, which captured eye contact and refined makeup details exceptionally well.

When doing Swimsuit cosplay outdoors or in sets, stiff poses or unnatural expressions are the biggest fears. While posing, I tried my best to relax, imagining myself truly vacationing at a summer beach. Holding the donut prop enhanced interactivity and guided hand placement, making overall posture look softer. While curating photos, I noticed outfits with higher skin exposure test shoulder-neck extension, so I specifically stretched my shoulders prior to shooting.

Overall, this Elysia swimsuit look created a sweet, dreamy, and vibrant summer atmosphere through wig selection, costume coordination, and scene setting. I'm very satisfied with the completion level of this look, especially after pairing with the Herrscher of Human: Ego wig, which captured the character's playful yet slightly tsundere demeanor exceptionally well. The light purple and pink-white color scheme alongside the ice cream booth scene filled these photos with summer coolness and 2D dreaminess. Shooting was full of fun, and looking at the final shots feels like having spent a delightful summer inside this dreamy ice cream shop.
