[Elysia Cosplay] CICF Expo Convention Photos: Miss Pink Elf from Honkai Impact 3rd

I organized these Elysia Cosplay Convention photos while the excitement around the CICF Expo was still fresh. The primary challenge of this shoot was faithfully capturing the character's dreamy aura under complex lighting conditions. The wig features a pink-to-white gradient, which took considerable time to trim and layer around the bangs and sideburns, while the purple eyes looked exceptionally translucent under the sunlight. Regarding the costume, the pairing of white tulle and purple chiffon beautifully conveyed the character's airy lightness, though it was very prone to getting soiled, especially with the skirt hem trailing along the ground. The metallic reflection of the golden armband and necklace was stunning, elevating the overall texture. We experimented with various camera angles during the shoot, such as the full-body seated composition in Photo 7, which used a low angle and extended leg lines to visually elongate body proportions—making it my favorite set from the entire shoot. Because it was an outdoor shoot with fluctuating natural light, we used reflectors and softboxes to keep skin tones fair and preserve the softness of the fabrics, making slight color adjustments in post-processing to stay close to the original Honkai Impact 3rd atmosphere. Foot traffic at the CICF Expo was heavy, making a relatively clean background hard to find, all thanks to my team members for helping manage the space. Although this outfit is gorgeous, it is cumbersome to put on and take off and quite breezy, but perfectly recreating Elysia's essence made it entirely worthwhile. In terms of posing, hand gestures with an inviting feel and showcasing leg lines like in Photo 7 best balanced the character's lively yet alluring charm. Capturing convention photos is never easy and truly tests snapshot timing; we even produced plenty of amusing outtakes while adjusting positions. Overall, this cosplay experience was wonderful—the costume details were faithfully recreated, the most flattering camera angles were found, making it a joyful shooting process.
