[Aemeath Cosplay] Sharing European court style photos in Honkai: Star Rail

This Aemeath Cosplay set actually took a lot of thought from costume preparation to the photoshoot process. The structure of the costume itself is quite complex, especially the hollowed-out patchwork on the upper body. To maintain its stiffness and snug fit, the inner lining was adjusted several times. The texture of the long pink hair was actually harder to manage than expected. Paired with the white horn accessories and hair scrunchies on top, a lot of effort went into the styling.

The location chosen for this shoot was a classic palace room with a black-and-white checkered floor. The white walls, coupled with gold reliefs and a sofa, formed a highly gorgeous background color. Set off by this black velvet sofa, the white, blue, and pink color palette of Aemeath created a great warm-cold contrast effect, making the overall atmosphere very immersive. The photographer used a large aperture and warm indoor fill light to make the skin look fair and translucent.

For pose design, this time I mainly wanted to show the character's body proportions, especially the lines of the thighs and chest. So I chose poses like crossing or lifting the legs. The white over-the-knee Tall boots added a lot to this composition, and paired with the metal ring straps on the thighs, they beautifully flattered the leg lines. For example, the pose in the second photo—sitting on the sofa with legs crossed—is the best way to visually elongate the proportions. The hand movements while sitting sideways also helped strengthen the curved silhouette of the upper body.

During the shoot, a white and blue bird-shaped prop was also placed on the nearby round table as a foreground embellishment. To match this highly magnificent outfit, the eye makeup was deliberately drawn a bit sharper, using reddish-brown color contacts to create a clean and crisp 2D feel. The photoshoot took about half a day. The light and shadow were adjusted several times; especially the application of the side rim light gave the wig on top a natural translucency. Post-processing mainly involved overall color grading, preserving the skin texture and the luster of the gold embroidery on the clothes, without excessive liquification. My personal completion rate for this set is indeed quite high, and the style I love was very well presented.
