Teaming up with Aji this time, we took on Ahri's (Ahri cosplay) Risen Legend and Immortalized Legend skins, where duo shooting placed exceptionally high demands on positioning and synergy. To project the distinct auras of the two skins, we spent extensive time refining costume nuances and prop textures. The black-gold-red battle attire delivers immense visual impact; the crimson sequins across the chest and cuffs refracted gorgeous dimensional depth under studio lights. The colossal, plush fox tails posed one of the biggest challenges of the session—the combined weight and fanning angles of multiple tails required meticulous calibration, needing to appear weightlessly buoyant on camera while demanding constant core engagement that gave our backs and waists a rigorous workout.
For makeup, crimson contact lenses paired with the signature red whisker marks across the cheeks served as the soul of the look. To capture an alluring yet perilous gaze, the eyeshadow gradient was deepened with rich red tones at the outer corners, paired with customized false lashes to enlarge the eyes. The beast ears at the crown were readjusted repeatedly to ensure they looked organic and seamless from every perspective. The fox mask and gold spiked halo wheel held in hand carried noticeable heft; both featured metallic luster coatings, and holding the mask casually with one hand actually kept the arm muscles under constant tension. The red-glowing, sharp-eyed spectral wolf shadows integrated in post-production had dedicated lighting allowances carved out during on-set shooting, layered meticulously to heighten the dark mythical ambiance.
The high-slit cut of the lower garment paired with black-and-gold tall boots framed long, flowing leg lines; to optimize definition, I did pre-shoot stretches to eliminate puffiness and adjusted the snugness of the boots. The textures of the two outfits contrasted sharply—one imperiously opulent, the other cold and razor-sharp. In our interactions, one gaze cast softly downward while the other pierced straight through the lens, leveraging contrast in eye contact and micro-expressions to delineate their dynamic. The metallic sheen of the masks, the jagged spikes of the halo ring, down to our nail polish were strictly curated to match the overarching aesthetic. The hardest part of duo shoots is avoiding visual obstruction within constrained spaces while maintaining resonant presence, demanding continuous monitor checks. From pre-production prep to studio lighting and layered CGI effects, the process was intricate yet immensely rewarding—freezing these mystical frames before the lens is the ultimate reward for our dedication.
