[Ahri Cosplay] The Shining Moment of Star Guardian from League of Legends

When I got my hands on Ahri's Star Guardian outfit, I found its color scheme highly eye-catching. A large area of pure white serves as the base color, paired with high-saturation magenta and mysterious purple, plus gold borders accented everywhere, completely maxing out that agility and gorgeousness of a Magical Girl. From starting to put it on to standing in front of the mirror, it took nearly an hour, with most of the time spent entirely on adjusting the wig, ears, and that massive fox tail.

This mirror selfie was intentionally chosen by the well-lit window. Everyone can see the accumulated snow outside from the photos; the natural light indoors during winter is actually very soft, hitting the white fabric and white stockings, perfectly presenting the texture of the material. I particularly love the tailoring of this outfit. The upper body is designed as a slim-fit white vest, where the purple three-dimensional petal shape at the neckline combined with the striking red star on the chest not only elongates the neckline but also beautifully concentrates the visual focus on the upper body.

The separate white oversleeves on the arms nicely sculpt the contour of the arms and don't feel too bloated to wear in winter. The layering of the skirt hem on the lower body is genuinely rich: the bottom layer is white lace trim, overlaid with purple ruffles and a bright red puffy tutu skirt, making the skirt hem sway lightly with movements when walking. These white over-knee thigh-high stockings on the legs have excellent elasticity, which can beautifully sculpt the leg shape, and the gold and red V-shaped decorations at the stocking cuffs happen to bridge with the thigh lines. Paired with the white platform high heels featuring tiny purple wings and red stars on the shoe tips, the overall proportions look exceptionally slender, which is also one of the reasons that makes me feel this outfit is particularly photogenic.

What I want to share the most is that massive pink fox tail; it is truly the soul of the entire look. It carries a lot of weight after being hung on, requiring the fixation point at the waist to be well-adjusted to keep its fluffy and natural curve. In front of the mirror, whether sitting or standing, the drape of the tail brings out a different vibe. The first photo of a sitting posture nicely displays the overall silhouette of the tail and the unfolded layers of the skirt hem, looking highly casual and natural.

For the second photo, I added a bit of blue magical light orb special effects on top, which fits the character's setting of manipulating magic exceptionally well. The action of raising the hand paired with the special effects builds quite a combat atmosphere. The subsequent two photos of standing postures primarily display the full-body outfit and lines; when taking photos, I attempted different gestures and center-of-gravity distributions to make the visual presentation of the white-stockinged long legs and the skirt hem more balanced. Before heading out, I was actually hesitating over whether to wear heavier makeup, but thinking that the temperament of a Star Guardian itself is agile yet carrying a young girl's vibe, the overall makeup was dominated by a clean and clear look. After completing this entire look, I couldn't help but press the shutter a few more times in front of the mirror. That feeling of watching oneself restore a beloved character bit by bit is truly filled with a sense of achievement. Although organizing the hairstyle and tail takes some effort, it makes one feel everything is worth it after presenting the ideal effect in the lens for a look into a Coser daily life.
