This set of Amiya photos took me a long time to prepare. As soon as I saw the blue-and-white plaid color scheme of this outfit, I decided to shoot it, and wearing it in person felt of very good quality. I picked a brownish wig with a layered texture, trimmed the bangs, and paired it with blue contact lenses to try to restore that fluffy, cute feeling. In terms of makeup, besides the enlarged eye makeup, I deliberately intensified the blush, because in Amiya's character design, bunny ears and such slightly reddish cheeks are what best embody her cuteness. The bunny ears on the headband were chosen from a fairly textured plush material; although a bit heavy after wearing for a long time, the shooting effect is well worth it.
The shooting location was chosen in a guesthouse with a bed, sofa, and open kitchen, making the environment very cozy. We prepared many White Rabbit creamy candy pillows and scattered candies as props, because Amiya herself fits the rabbit element very well, and this daily home feel with a touch of life is also very suitable for this outfit. During the shoot, I tried various different poses. For example, lying on the edge of the bed pretending to rest, stretching on the bed, and leaning against pillows looking at the camera. The pattern of the dress features slightly puff sleeves, with red and blue lines embellished on the cuffs, and the skirt hem features white lace and blue bunny prints, showing great layering when moving around.
To match this casual home style, I wore white stockings and small leather shoes, which not only matches the overall cute tone, but also showcases some leg line sense during sitting and leg-stretching poses. The overall tone is clean and bright, and the post-processing direction was also adjusted towards a fresh, healing feel. This cosplay with a strong sense of daily life actually tests the natural relaxation of expression and posture. In front of the camera, there's no need to deliberately strike exaggerated combat poses; just immerse yourself in that gentle and cute daily state. I hope everyone likes this style of Amiya.
In terms of outfit details, this dress has actually undergone some adjustments. To ensure the fluffiness of the skirt hem, I wore a petticoat underneath, so when sitting or lying down, the shape of the skirt looks better and won't deflate. The bow and lace on the apron are also key points; I carefully fixed them in the right places to avoid them getting crooked midway through the shoot. Because Amiya's bunny ears are very large, to prevent it from being top-heavy, the bottom of the wig was specially fixed, firmly pinned to the head with hairpins, so even rolling on the bed or doing big movements, the ears won't easily fall off.
The lighting during the shoot mainly utilized natural window light from indoors, with a tiny bit of soft light added, making the skin texture captured relatively translucent. The lenses were mainly 50mm and 85mm prime lenses, which can blur the background nicely and focus attention on the character and the candy props in front. We filled that small golden coffee table with colorful candies, took a few shots sitting there, and also let candies scatter naturally on the white bedsheets. This arrangement full of dessert elements, paired with this blue-and-white colored outfit, is visually very comfortable.
I think the color scheme of this outfit is actually quite clever; the combination of blue and white itself gives people a fresh, well-behaved impression, while the red edging adds a bit of vitality. When touching up my makeup, I also paid special attention to keeping the base makeup clean; after all, light-colored clothing has relatively high requirements for skin tone and complexion. During shooting breaks, I was also constantly adjusting the position of the White Rabbit pillows, hoping the prop placement in every picture could match the current action composition. Whether leaning on the sofa or half-lying on the bed edge, I had to maintain a relaxed and non-rigid state, which is also something I constantly reminded myself of during the shoot. Through this set of photos, I hope to more completely showcase Amiya's daily, sweet side.
