This Amiya Garden of Chronos themed look was crafted primarily around the ethereal, magical atmosphere of Ambience Synesthesia. The entire gown features a white-to-blue gradient palette; the upper bodice adopts a halterneck, backless silhouette, while the blue choker around the neck adorned with a white rose harmonizes neatly with the overall colors. The most demanding element was the skirt hem, where generous satin and semi-sheer organza were layered across five to six tiers. To maintain an aesthetic volume whether sitting or standing, a remarkably sturdy, heavy crinoline petticoat was required underneath. With every step, the sheer tulle veils drift with an airy lightness.
Wearing the Bunny ears was a delicate technical task. This pair of rabbit ears is fairly large with pink inner cartilage, connected at the base to a hollowed-out silver metallic tiara, requiring numerous bobby pins and clear fishing line to anchor firmly into the wig so no fasteners showed during top-down or profile shots. For the wig, long straight brown hair was selected, with a braid woven along the right side draping over the front shoulder, accented by crystals and delicate florets. For makeup, special attention was directed toward the eyes: blue colored contacts paired with broadly blended reddish eyeshadow and blush created that faintly flushed orbital rim look, keeping the corners of the mouth subtly curled in a gentle smile.
The shooting set featured a massive white-and-blue floral garden, with a white grand piano serving as the primary prop. Because the scene was richly dressed, framing required careful balance between the piano's placement and the depth of the floral sea. For instance, when perched on the piano bench, I shifted my center of gravity forward with one leg extended and the other gently bent to display the skirt's rich tiers and leg lines, visually stretching overall proportions. For those profile shots playing the piano, keeping arm lines taut with fingertips resting lightly on the keys while closing my eyes helped channel the mood inspired by the music.
The silver spiraling scepter in hand was quite heavy, featuring intricate carvings along the shaft and a blue jewel ornament at the crown; holding it single-handedly during shooting made it prone to trembling, requiring core engagement to maintain stability. For the photos holding a floral bouquet, wrist posture had to be mindful so the flowers wouldn't obscure key clothing details.
Regarding illumination, the set predominantly utilized cool-toned, high-key lighting paired with ample diffusion modifiers. The floor's reflective material worked with the chiaroscuro to give an illusion of standing on water. Throughout the shoot, I continuously adjusted my facial orientation according to the lighting angles, aiming to let the rim lighting catch my shoulders and hair strands. The entire session was a true test of stamina and patience, but seeing every delicate nuance come together flawlessly in the finished photos made all the effort thoroughly worthwhile.
