[Amiya cosplay] Rhodes Island in Arknights: Basking in the sun on a tree stump

After dressing in this Amiya uniform and putting on the bunny ears to complete the Bunny girl look, the first thing I did was find a sunlit spot to sit down. The "RHODES ISLAND" logo on the jacket is prominent, and the blue-purple lace trim at the collar paired with matching satin ribbons, along with the Black tights outfit and uniform shoes, creates a rich visual depth. This Forest exterior shoot was set in an outdoor woodland where dappled sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting natural textures across the costume.

During the shoot, I paid close attention to facial expressions; because Amiya conveys a calm and focused demeanor, I chose a thoughtful side-profile angle. The silhouette of this outfit is tailored neatly—especially the waistline cut and the sleek lines of the Black tights outfit, which look crisp under natural light. However, the surface of the outdoor tree stump was rough, so maintaining my posture without snagging or dirtying the tights required careful movement control. I also slightly adjusted the bunny ear supports so they wouldn't catch on branches.

Overall, the costume boasts high fidelity, from the orange stripes on the cuffs to the buckles on the footwear. Throughout the shoot, I experimented with several seated poses and ultimately selected this composition with crossed legs and a slight backward lean, which elongates the legs without looking stiff. Since we were shooting outdoors, we monitored shifting lighting conditions constantly; fortunately, the afternoon backlighting provided a natural soft-focus glow that softened the entire image.

I personally favor this kind of natural Forest exterior with an everyday touch, as it feels much more relaxed than studio shoots. While keeping makeup faithful to the original design, I avoided overly heavy cosmetics to maintain a fresh, clean base. Styling the wig also took careful thought, curving the ends slightly to match the character. In terms of clothing, the jacket lining and cuff details are crafted exquisitely; although the plaid skirt is partly covered by the jacket, sitting on the stump allows the transition between the hem and the Black tights outfit to reveal just enough layering for a harmonious visual balance.

This was one of my most satisfying outdoor shoots recently. The final images preserved the raw light and shadow without excessive skin smoothing, striving for authenticity. I hope this photo conveys the character's quiet yet steadfast temperament in this Arknights Amiya cosplay.
