Today I am sharing this young sovereign look of Amiya from Arknights. The outfit features exceptionally rich layering: a white dress bodice contrasted with black straps and red colorblocking, delivering strong visual punch. The bright blue sash draped diagonally across the chest, accented with a silver metal badge, serves as the crowning touch of the ensemble. The outer white fur-collared cape adds a sense of solemn majesty to the overarching aura; to secure its placement, I adjusted the hidden shoulder snaps several times beforehand, ensuring it stayed crisp and wouldn't slip off.
The rabbit ears and black spiked crown on my head were the key focal points of this shoot, showcasing the iconic Bunny girl silhouette. The rabbit ears are fairly substantial in volume, requiring bobby pins and heavy hairspray to lock securely onto the wig while blending organically into the braided styling beneath. For the wig, I selected a deep brown long straight cut, spending considerable time trimming the bangs and sidelocks to flatter my face shape; paired with vivid bright blue contact lenses, it brought the character's demeanor much closer to her canon presence.
The black globus cruciger prop held in my hands boasted fantastic texture, with spikes around its surface and a top cross set with blue gem accents. I experimented with two holding postures during the shoot. When cradling it before my chest with both hands, maintaining a steady center of gravity and slightly engaging arm muscles imparted a stronger sense of authority. When lifting it with one hand, I softened the elbow angle to keep the wrist from appearing stiff, ensuring the overall lines flowed gracefully. Paired with a seated pose spreading the skirt wide, it cleanly showcased the white Stockings cosplay styling details. Sincere thanks to Master Yanyi for documenting behind-the-scenes moments and helping oversee countless subtleties throughout the session.
The studio set featured golden birdcages and bluish-purple floral arrangements against soft pink drapes, establishing a gentle, ethereal color palette. To match the thematic atmosphere, I explored diverse expressions: beyond subtle smiles, I tried vacant, unfocused gazes looking straight into the lens, striving to convey a demeanor simultaneously regal, poised, and serenely contemplative. The black diamond tattoo stickers along the arms were also an integral part of the design, applied with meticulous spacing to ensure perfect symmetry.
The entire shoot was quite the physical test; both the headpiece weight and prop handling demanded continuous endurance. Yet seeing satisfying frames materialize before the lens made every bit of preparation worthwhile. This shoot deepened my appreciation for the tactile textures and prop craftsmanship of this design, and I hope these photos share this visual aesthetic with everyone.
