[Amiya cosplay] Putting on the Bunny Ear Shirt, Recreating the Rhodes Island Daily Life of Arknights

Putting on this everyday Amiya Cosplay outfit, I feel instantly transported back to the infrastructure of Rhodes Island. The shirt, pleated skirt, blue-gray bowtie, and this pair of iconic bunny ears—every detail tries its best to capture the texture of the default skin. Although it looks like a well-behaved JK style, this bunny is the one who has to shoulder all of Rhodes Island.

During the shoot, we specially adjusted the angle of natural light to give the white shirt a more breathable feel. When retouching, I kept hesitating between preserving a bit of real texture or pursuing ultimate smoothness. In the end, I chose to make slight adjustments to the skin tone and gaze, hoping to present Amiya's gentle yet firm feeling.

A lot of thought also went into the texture of the tail and ears, with the hair direction and catchlights matching the character's settings. The comfort of wearing black stockings and a short skirt definitely takes some getting used to, but it's totally worth it for the accuracy. This kind of 2D daily life style is actually harder to pull off than gorgeous battle armor, because it tests the wearer's demeanor and temperament much more. I hope the results this time make people who love this character feel it is close enough to the original work.
