When I received this set of photos from Photographer C, I was thinking about how to more accurately capture the details and expression of the Amiya Sea of Yesterday outfit. The white off-the-shoulder ruffled shirt of this attire provides rich visual layering, accented by a slender black ribbon at the collar and loose sleeves that are very comfortable to wear. The bunny ears atop my head are not only the character's iconic trademark, but also key props—the plush material with orange gradation on the inner side revealed wonderful texture under the lights. Complemented by the black star-embellished bow on the right and two golden cross barrettes on the left, I specifically trimmed the bangs and sidelocks to better flatter my facial contours.

For the makeup, I selected bright blue contacts for a Blue-eyed cosplay that captures the character's gaze. The eye makeup wasn't overly heavy, focusing mainly on contouring and lashes, paired with an orange-toned lip tint to brighten my complexion. Several blue rings adorned my fingers, which was an indispensable detail of this ensemble.

The shooting took place indoors, and Photographer C has rich experience with light capture. We mainly utilized natural light from the windows alongside ambient fill light to create a clean, luminous feeling across the frames. In the first set of photos, I hugged a yellow-and-white plush pillow, which easily helped me relax and look straight into the camera. After a while, we moved to the orange couch where I tried a curled-up, chin-resting pose. This pose can easily look unnatural, so I tested it several times back and forth, adjusting elbow placement and spine curvature until finding a spot that showcased my posture without appearing rigid.

The sequence lying on the striped couch offered my favorite interactive feel. Reaching forward required careful control of force in the arm and wrist to avoid looking forced. The crossing angle of my legs was also adjusted—brown socks paired with a dark skirt lent an overall sense of everyday relaxation. To achieve this relaxed vibe, I kept steady breathing, trying my best to ease my body rather than holding it stiffly.

In portraying Amiya, I was mostly striving to grasp the quietness and resolve in her expression. The fabric texture of each piece and the placement of every prop directly influenced my state before the camera. This shoot deepened my understanding of handling indoor lighting. Photographer C provided plenty of guidance on facial expressions, making the whole shooting rhythm proceed seamlessly. Seeing the camera frames gradually fill up with richness brought a deep sense of fulfillment. In the journey of cosplay, every step—from selecting costumes and styling to posing before the lens—demands heartfelt care. This Amiya Sea of Yesterday shoot also serves as a personal log of my recent state. I hope everyone can feel this relaxing atmosphere when viewing these photos.
