[Amiya cosplay] Summer Bunny Outing: Hypergryph Carnival 2026 Convention Photos

Convention photos from Hypergryph Carnival 2026 are finally sorted out! This time I cosplayed Amiya's summer-themed spin-off look, with the overall concept aimed at crafting a refreshing, lively vibe of a summer bunny outing.

Inspired by the summer feel of "Till the Earth Turns Lime Green," this styling abandons classic operator uniforms in favor of a pink-and-white plaid off-the-shoulder crop top paired with dark denim shorts. To maintain character recognition, special effort went into the backpack, animal-ear straw hat, and the Rhodes Island printed fan in hand. The hat straps utilize light blue sheer gauze material, creating a dreamy reflective refraction under convention venue lighting, which, paired with light purple gradient hair ends dangling behind, feels visually lightweight and breathable. Additionally, a fluffy bunny tail accents the back of the shorts, complemented by a blue collar at the neck and a dark blue strap on the right leg, perfectly preserving Amiya's core traits in this Anime-style fashion from Arknights.

These three photos were taken from different angles at Hypergryph Carnival. The first photo features a kneeling pose holding the fan, an angle that vividly showcases the lively, playful side of this outfit. Raising the fan outward with both hands alongside a tilted-up smile gives the whole frame an interactive feel. Simultaneously, this posture nicely highlights details of the crop top and leg strap, making waistlines and leg proportions stand out under the lens. The second photo is a standing full-body shot, mainly to fully demonstrate overall outfit proportions. Slingshotting that blue-and-white shoulder bag while holding the fan down with one hand offers a very natural, everyday outing feel. The third photo utilizes a transparent inflatable swim ring found on-site as a prop; sitting on the floor adds layers to composition while echoing transparent textures with straw hat ribbons, enhancing a cool visual touch.

Venue lighting at Hypergryph Carnival that day was actually very friendly, with ceiling spotlights intermingling with ambient sources, alongside highly polished dark gray reflective floor tiles that provided fantastic reflection effects for shooting. Floor reflections were deliberately considered during composition, showing clear reflections of the lower body across all three photos, heavily boosting spatial depth and clarity. Particularly in the first photo, the glossy metallic floor blended portrait with light and shadow seamlessly, requiring only basic color adjustments in post-processing to make costume colors pop.

Shooting rhythm was quite fast due to heavy foot traffic on-site, requiring quick posing during empty intervals. The kneeling pose in the first photo took multiple attempts to find the most stable, natural balance—balancing fan and straw hat placement while ensuring limbs didn't look stiff, leaving my knees a bit sore afterwards. The second standing pose was easiest to control in frame; the only care needed was preventing backpack straps from covering too much plaid pattern on the top by slightly adjusting strap positions. In the third photo, sitting inside the swim ring felt slightly cramped, but that exact constraint looked even cuter, building a neat miniature scene together with the fan in hand.

The entire process was deeply immersive. Wearing this outfit on-site truly felt like walking around the convention in Amiya's bunny form, where built-in summer coolness and detailed props made the photo shoot go smoothly. Though wearing denim shorts and top while keeping up wig styling in summer gets hot, the bright, youthful summer atmosphere delivered in final photos made it completely worth it. As a specific themed attempt matching character traits with seasonal elements, it was a thoroughly enjoyable shoot experience.
