[Priestess cosplay] Arknights: Cyberpunk Phantom, Serenity in the Wasteland Train

Shooting Priestess (Priestess cosplay) in this abandoned train carriage allowed me to deeply experience the unique aura of this Arknights character. After extensive discussions with the photographer during pre-production, we finalized this abandoned carriage—with its intense sense of decay, cool color palette, and long corridor perspective—as our primary scene in Ruin style. Upon stepping into the location, a desolate, profound stillness immediately enveloped me, perfectly matching the Cyberpunk phantom motif and cold digital data streams.

From lighting to framing, the vanishing-point perspective of the abandoned car deepened the wasteland atmosphere. In an environment already situated on the boundary between light and shadow, the natural light scattering through shattered windows yielded results even better than expected. The overall oppressive mood allowed me to quickly immerse myself in the character's mental state.

For styling, I chose this black-and-white themed look: the top is a pure white blouse with layered ruffles and a black bow at the neckline, evoking the solemnity of an ancient ritual. The bottom pairs black trousers with strapped over-the-knee stockings (Black stockings) and white platform shoes, elongating the overall body proportions. The stark contrast between black and white stood out strikingly against the gloomy setting. The thigh strap design is especially captivating in a Ruin style setting—matching the overall aesthetic with both a chilly Cyberpunk tech vibe and an indescribable allure.

For makeup, pale foundation and vibrant red lips were emphasized; the pale complexion against vivid red lips formed an extreme contrast in the dim tones, heightening an eerie, inhuman ghost-like presence. The makeup artist was exceptionally professional—to accentuate the coldness of a Cyberpunk ghost, even the eye makeup was applied with deliberate restraint.

During the shoot, I tried to keep my gaze cold and vacant. Because the train car was severely deteriorated with uneven flooring, holding balance while striking poses took extra effort; yet this slight physical tension actually infused the frame with an innate sense of aloof detachment. To enhance the Cyberpunk feel, we experimented in post-production by adding digital glitch effects to the second photo—the chromatic aberration split and misaligned scan lines truly evoked the sensation of collapsing data streams. The quiet ruins instantly gained the surreal magic of corrupted electronic code.

Regarding Priestess, her temperament carries a calm, profound depth. In my portrayal, I deliberately reined in large, sweeping motions, relying entirely on subtle body language and micro-expressions to convey emotion. Standing right in the middle of the empty, abandoned train hallway, I felt as though I was truly suspended within a frozen corner of time's data stream—a wonderful experience. Having such an immersive photoshoot was made possible thanks to our entire team's synergy. Overall, this was a memorable milestone that pushed my styling and posture control to new heights, marking another step forward in refining my craft.
