While applying the base makeup, the makeup artist suddenly said, "With this makeup on, you look just like an exquisite little princess." I had to hold back my laughter at that moment. But thinking about it carefully, who would have thought that beneath this delicate face hides the slight melancholy of the Fairy King? The highlights of the entire shooting process, besides this custom white fur-collared coat, include the irregular hollow-out design with black totems around the waist. To strike the lazy sitting posture that best fits the setting, the photographer and I spent nearly half an hour repeatedly adjusting the positions of the skirt hem and the plush boots. The frog closures and mandarin collar details of the coat are highly sophisticated, instantly making the neck and shoulder lines appear upright and sharp once worn.

The indoor set this time selected a white and blue atmosphere with a cool color tone, which, paired with the on-site white carved ironwork and greenery, perfectly brought out that aloof, cold sense of distance inherent to the character. The moment the crown was placed on my head, my entire aura became completely different. Although the whole process from makeup to hair and finally adding this golden crown took nearly two hours, the final texture met expectations perfectly. The soft lighting in the photography studio was handled just right without overexposing, instead making the white clothing look translucent and lightweight.

The fun of the shooting process probably lies in the misalignment of character gender perception. Because the overall vibe is relatively soft, with the white fur and down-styled light short hair, it's very easy to be mistaken for a princess from some fantasy world. However, when the waist details and the cool-toned gaze were reinforced during post-processing editing, that unique sense of contrast was instantly maximized. This gender-fluid, androgynous visual effect is actually a highly charming part of 2D cosplay, and I thoroughly enjoy this unconventional role-playing experience.

Special thanks to the Jinan My Dress-Up Darling Photography Studio for providing such an atmospheric indoor venue; the white birdcage and bouquets in the set added a lot of layering to the frame. Also, shoutout to the makeup artist for her precise control over the eye makeup details, as well as the post-processing soft focus treatment on the light and shadow, which greatly elevated the overall quality of the photos. When shooting this kind of fairy tale-themed cosplay from Fate/Grand Order, finding the right scenes and props is important, but the key is how to express the character's core coldness and detachment in front of the lens. Although everyone burst into laughter several times during the shoot because of my "dead inside" expressions, the final completed photos indeed precisely captured that unique temperament, making it a truly satisfying set for Cosplay photography.
