Meltryllis's summer-limited color palette and cool atmosphere set a crisp visual tone for this shoot right from the start. While preparing for this work, I repeatedly confirmed every detail of the costume: the detached short top with ruffles, the purple-blue ribbons, the highly reflective silver glossy over-the-knee boots, and that cold, detached demeanor with a sense of distance. This outfit holds a clear advantage in a studio environment; in particular, the interplay between the reflective material of the pants and the bright blue ambient light can create an exceptionally translucent light and shadow effect.

The setup of the entire scene placed a strong emphasis on creating an atmospheric feel, utilizing pure white Roman pillars, withered branches as props, as well as large areas of blue drapery and transparent films. The light beamed down simultaneously from the top and sides, creating a serenity akin to being underwater or inside an icy palace. During the shoot, special attention had to be paid to weight distribution, as these high-heeled boots are inherently difficult to balance in, plus the studio floor was covered with a plastic film with a metallic luster, making it quite slippery to step on. I had to maintain a stable posture at all times to allow the lens to capture a naturally stretched state.

Throughout the shoot, the photographer's control over the cool blue-toned lighting was extremely precise. Through the clever use of reflective materials and mirror frames on set, it not only increased the spatial depth of the frame but also allowed the purplish-red ribbons to stand out as a highly contrasting bright accent against the cool background. I consciously interacted with the dead wood and frameworks in the background, moving beyond a simple standing display to utilizing arm raises, side profiles, or downward-looking angles to fit the character's intrinsic lightness and inner temperament. The refraction of the glossy materials under studio lights placed high demands on post-shoot color balancing; how to preserve the metallic texture without making it look cheap achieved a quite subtle balance in the final post-processing of this set of Cosplay photography.

The reason I chose this summer-themed look was also out of my love for the character's diverse attributes. Of course, as a player who frequently engages in roleplay, I always believe that accuracy to the original work can be continuously refined. As mentioned before, although the raw photos from this shoot achieved an effect I'm quite satisfied with, the remake plan for this character hasn't stopped because of it. Currently, the costume for the second ascension version has completed its remake, with significant upgrades in fabric material and tailoring fit, and I should look for more suitable scenes to present the new texture in the future. Archiving this set of photos serves as an ACG Save File, more like a visual reference and exploration for the next step of more refined shooting.

When shooting photos with complex props and special material costumes like this, early communication and on-site adjustments are both crucial. How to maintain emotional continuity throughout a full day of shooting, and how to express soft facial contours under intense light, are all experiences I have accumulated through continuous practice. I'm delighted to use this blue studio shoot theme to record my unique self in this specific light and shadow before the lens. Photography is not only a reproduction of the character's image but also the result of aesthetic collaboration within the shooting team, with plenty of ingenuity integrated from prop arrangement to camera movement methods. I hope in the future, I can continue to bring more interesting forms of expression in the identity of this character across more novel scene settings.
