This fan creation with an Alice theme had a clear visual positioning as early as the preparation stage. Since the classic element of Alice was mentioned, the set design naturally had to revolve around the vibe of a "fantasy forest tea party." In terms of the outfit's design, the blue and white color scheme is highly recognizable, and the skirt hem is richly layered, featuring not only the classic apron design but also cleverly utilizing gold buttons of various shapes as accents. The neckline is meticulously matched with a blue bowknot featuring a golden center piece, paired with an off-the-shoulder bubble sleeve design, making the overall silhouette of the upper body look very upright and full of airiness.

To match this exquisite outfit, we specially chose a real-scene studio filled with retro green plants and delicate props for the shoot. In terms of makeup, considering that the character's eye color itself is blue, the makeup intentionally enhanced the translucent blue contact lenses to make the gaze more focused and expressive. The white-and-blue gradient of the wig was handled naturally, retaining the iconic small top hat, and the bangs were carefully pinched into a crescent arc, making the entire facial contour appear more vivid and playful.

Regarding props, besides the blue ribbon scepter which serves as the visual focus, the accessories of this look are also worth mentioning. The tights patchworked with blue-and-white stripes and diamond grids, paired with platform high-heeled bow shoes, nicely elongated the leg lines in the frame. During the actual shooting process, we arranged a lot of actions interacting with the scene, such as picking up an exquisite afternoon tea porcelain cup, or leaning against a retro wooden chair, naturally playing with the scepter in hand.

For post-processing, I preferred to retain the vibrant green colors of the environment while darkening the highlights of the background to highlight the blue and white main subject on the character. Scattered blue butterflies served as embellishments in the foreground and background, successfully increasing the layers of the image, adding a 3D-like stereoscopic feel to the originally 2D flat photography—as if the character were truly immersed in that bizarre fairytale world. The states displayed under different camera angles were also diverse, including cute and elegant half-body close-ups, as well as full-body shots that showcased the character's aura. The addition of frame elements strengthened the setting of a "mirror wonderland adventure," adding a touch of storytelling.

The reason why fan creation is so interesting is precisely that it is not completely limited by the unyielding rules of the original work; we can visually reconstruct our own understanding and preferences. This shoot, whether in terms of the refinement of the clothing or the details of the props in the studio, gave me a deeper understanding of the words "fan creation." It is a collaborative visual feast, not a simple, dry recreation, but a precise mastery of aesthetics and atmosphere. I really enjoyed the process of pondering the character's state in front of the lens, and I am very grateful to be able to truly capture this creative theme in our cosplay photography.
