Recreating a Mucha style visual concept during an afternoon where light flows was a deeply immersive experience. The inspiration for this final photoshoot came from the character's inherent sense of mythology, and we ultimately chose a warm-toned vintage garden set, hoping to present a dream world amid the changing light and shadow. Regarding the makeup and styling, I repeatedly went over details with the makeup artist beforehand. The pale mint-colored braided plait is one of the visual focal points; paired with the wreath atop my head, it not only brightened the face but also matched the rhythm of the greenery and fresh flowers in the background. The costume featured an off-the-shoulder design with interwoven gold and silver, and the blue-green gems on the shoulders and chest produced a highly delicate luster under specific lighting—the craftsmanship of this part was beautifully executed.

The lighting on the day of the shoot was so exquisite that we decisively discarded some indoor artificial light sources, opting instead to utilize the natural backlighting pouring in from the window across a large area. The hazy golden spots and the Tyndall effect that everyone sees in the frame are actually the result of real sunlight hitting the fine dust in the air. This kind of lighting heavily tests the photographer, but if shot with front-lighting, the image often turns out too plain. To highlight that dreamy, ethereal atmosphere, we had the model slightly tilt her head back to welcome the warmth filtering down from the sun. The rattan sofa chair and the flower stand behind provided an excellent spatial framework, keeping the composition from feeling too empty. I have previously cosplayed many characters with combat or magnificent styles, but an artistic and romantic attempt like this certainly gave me a completely different experience.

In designing the composition and poses, we didn't want to use overly stiff or forced postures, but rather hoped for something as natural as a moment of afternoon rest. Whether lightly tugging at the braid or slightly lifting a hand to catch the light, it was all to express a relaxed, freely breathing state. The skirt hem utilized a design of multi-layered lightweight tulle and tassels, delivering a great dynamic feel when fluttering in the wind, which was an important plus during the costume design. However, this kind of large trailing tulle skirt indeed posed difficulties during the shoot because it could easily get caught on the rattan chair, so we needed to repeatedly adjust the details of sitting and standing positions during filming.

As a coser, while completing the dressing and preparing the scene, what comforted me most was that the overall color scheduling resonated with the feeling of the original design. For the eye makeup, I had the artist minimize the elongated eyeliner and focus heavily on layering earth tones and champagne shades, ensuring it wouldn't look out of place in the warm yellow lighting environment. The fresh flowers on the head utilized dangling floral materials to echo the colors in the flower basket. Aside from restoring the character's own features, I feel the charm of cosplay photography also lies in being able to create a visual effect more aligned with aesthetics based on the existing environment.

This shooting style of expressing visual impact through light and transparency, rather than stacking strong heavy colors, gave me a brand-new perception of character interpretation. Post-processing also didn't deliberately chase high saturation or sharpening treatments, but instead maintained that soft-focus and hazy airiness of the raw image, not even fully wiping away the floating dust in the air, precisely to preserve the genuine warmth that this \"dream world\" ought to have. This photography style with an oil painting texture can truly keep you immersed in that emotion for a very long time after shooting. Especially in such a fast-paced era, having the opportunity to calm down and spend an entire day slowly polishing this kind of vintage-styled imagery leaves me highly satisfied. Every detail presented in this final photoshoot—whether the luster on the hair or the lightweight tulle under the sun—ultimately became the most vivid brushstroke of this collection. Every time I look back at these photos, I feel that the hard work invested at that time was deeply valuable; this pure, focused feeling of doing one thing is truly amazing, encapsulating the beauty of Honor of Kings cosplay.
